North Korea WILL NEVER attack Guam or any other country.
Even crazy Kim knows they would be obliterated in seconds.

I tend to agree. I also have the "well, you never know - anything's possible - crazy things still happen" thoughts, but I still think the chances of the nut ever actually doing it are slim.

So you'll admit it's a wag the dog response to distract from Mueller's investigation of Russia, Russia, Russia colluding with the Trump campaign to sway the election?
Someone within the intelligence community is pushing for a military response by leaking this report.”
months-long campaign by corporate media to drum up fears of a North Korean attack on the American homeland.
The Western media is notorious for spreading ridiculous myths about North Korea; among them, that the country discovered evidence of unicorns, that all North Koreans are forced to get the same haircut, and that leader Kim Jong-un killed his uncle by feeding him to a pack of dogs.
Just over 60 years ago, the U.S. waged what was essentially a genocidal war against Korea, in which it murdered millions of people. “Over a period of three years or so, we killed off — what — 20 percent of the population,” said Air Force General Curtis LeMay, who led the Strategic Air Command during the Korean War.

Yea sure. I guess if you read infowars. I've never heard any of those "rumors" about North Korea. What shoe is going to drop on Monday regarding Trump and Russian collusion? PTAPE755
North Korea is more successful when it comes to mineral resources. North Korea is speculated to be endowed with over six trillion dollars worth of rare metal resources. North Korea is a reservoir that is vast and mostly untouched due to North Korea's extremely rigid and isolationist policies that prevent any foreign mining company from coming in and making use of the metal deposits beneath the soil. North Korea possesses very large deposits of iron and zinc, being the world's eighteenth largest producer of both. The nation also possesses the twenty-second largest coal reserve in the world.

Rep. David Cicilline (D-R.I.) told Ryan in a letteron Friday that the House must act immediately to prohibit President Trump from ordering a preemptive nuclear strike without congressional authorization.
"In light of the ongoing standoff between the United States and North Korea, as well as President Trump's reckless words," Cicilline wrote, "I ask that you immediately call the House of Representatives back into session to debate legislation prohibiting the U.S. from conducting a preemptive nuclear strike without prior congressional authorization."

Exactly. The dude isn't suicidal and he wants to stay in power.
I don't think he is suicidal, but I do think that he's a drunk kid with an ego that the Kardashions couldn't even imagine. Add a Clown to the mix and now you have two of dumbest leaders (that have nukes) squaring off.
I'm playing Fallout 4 this weekend and saving bottle caps.
North Korea’s entire nuclear stockpiles consist of 60 nuclear weapons, compared with 6,970 owned by the US, out of which 1,750 are operational.
To place these numbers in a global perspective, there are an estimated 15,000 nuclear weapons, worldwide.
While the North Koreans require a sixth successful test to put a nuclear warhead on an intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBM), the US had conducting 1,030 such nuclear tests, starting in July 1945.

Woooooooooooah! No way! Fake news. No talk of Russia and their stockpiles? Why not? They did fly over the Koreas today with nuke bombers. Be afraid, be very afraid. Trump only has one card left to play to avoid impeachment. Take your pick of dogs to wag. The shitzu of Korea? Maybe it's the saluki of Iraq? The lurcher of Iran? Or maybe it'll be the Canaan of Syria? Or how about the Ukrainian ovcharka? And everyone's favorite, the Afghan hound?

oh boy, this is potentially a triple treble hook trigger fish!!!!! Russian ties!
“We know that North Korea wants above all to talk to the United States about guarantees for its security. We are ready to support that, we are ready to take part in facilitating such negotiations,” Lavrov said at an international conference in Vienna, according to the Interfax news agency. “Our American colleagues, [including] Rex Tillerson, have heard this.”
Lavrov? The Russian? The guy who works for Putin? We should take advice from him? Oh wait, Team Trump Treason already has and does. Never mind. And who goes to Vienna anyway? Do they have Big Macs and Fishwiches there?

Talking is fine, I hope they do some of that. But then let's start trading with them things like LPs, CDs, music downloads, dance steps, climbing techniques, cartoons, painting and sculpture, architectural drawings, photo journals, cinema, wood carvings, beading and jewelry, all sorts of fabric arts, poetry!, eating traditions and of course earwax (PB, that one's for you!).

Good grief. Same old ignorant bastards here I see. Like honestly, do any of you ever feel ashamed about how little you know!?? Has anyone here been to North Korea or know of anyone who has been to North Korea? Came on here to see what people thought of Fahrenheit 11/9 and got several reminders of why I'm not on here anymore.

Hell yes! Well, not so much ashamed as frustrated. So much to know, so little time!
Has anyone here been to North Korea or know of anyone who has been to North Korea?
No, but reading Henry Rollins accounts in a couple of books (and his photos in Occupants) give me some insights.

Now that's a damn shame, polaris_x because we could use your voice and insights here.

Is the movie worth seeing? I do not know much about NK. I do view Kim no longer launching missiles over Japan as a positive. It also seems like the North and the South are developing better relations, that's positive.
