I've given up on the Knights. They've dropped Kirk Reynoldson now because of 'bad form'. The man made 30 tackles last week!!!
The real reason he's been dropped is because if he plays 1 more game then it activates a clause in his contract which automatically renews his contract for next season. Brian Smith is fucked!! He's destroyed the club from the inside out. In the good old days, the Knights squad was primarily made up of players from Newcastle and the Hunter. They were a close unit of players, almost like family, and they played with pride and passion.. Now Brian Smith has come in and he's giving all the local lads the chop so that he can bring in 'his' players, and with the culling of the local players, the passion has gone from the team :mad:
He's ruining the 'traditional' way the Knights used to be, and it already shows that it's not working..........

I was worried as soon as they appointed him as coach last year..... and downright devastated when Clint Newton walked out! As a loyal fan who didn't miss a home game for their first 9 years, and having spent 5 of those years sitting next to Clint and his family in the main stand, I knew there were real problems with the club for him to leave like that. And this whole thing with Reynoldson is a joke!!! If they don't want him next year, just tell the bloke rather than jerking him around. The best thing the club had going for it was the local touch.... no other club showed that sort of commitment to their own juniors, with the odd purchase here and there when needed (BK for example) and now 20 years of that loyalty has been thrown out the window in 1 looooooooooooooooooooong season
