So how was Bob last night?
He was okay... but now i've seen Bob Dylan before he died ;)

I think you mean... "how was the Bob Dylan trivia night with some Bluegrass band covering Bob Dylan songs featuring special Guest Bob Dylan?"...

It was definitely Bob Dylan tho... some songs that i knew dissapointed me heh.

He played Masters of War... and I actually picked which song it was right at the beginning, which considering he changed ALL the oldies, was a feat i'm proud of... heh

I think i was the youngest one there :p

Bob Dylan.. two songs i know he didn't massacre were Masters of War and All along the Watchtower... some others... well... it's sad that an artist can massacre their own song... and his backing group just played along, to a tune that was far from the originals most of the time!!

Yeah :( We were going to get tix and a girlfriend of mine, who's a huge fan of Bob and The Band said that if I wanted to stay a Bob fan - not to go see him live :( She had been to a lot of his shows and said the last couple of times really put her off.
Shame....some artists just need to know when to retire and make a living off "Best Of" albums ;)

Just found out a customer of Leigh's shop that would visit Leigh 3 mornings a week and was pretty cool has just died from cancer. :( Leigh's pretty upset. He just found out last week that a lady he worked with at Woolworths for 9 years also died from cancer 5 weeks ago and no one thought to tell him so he could go the funeral.

Re your beloved Knights. Is it Brian Smiths fault or is he being directed by the board? Either way he is a loser...and so is your team for that matter. Not like Manly :D

Sorry to read about your bad news Susan :(

So..........Ed's solo album's out next month. Do you think he'll tour? It'd definitely be small venues (theatres etc) Here's hoping for a Vedder tour to hit our shores :)

I think it's a bit of both. Heads have started to roll on the board and I think that Smith's head shouldn't be far behind behind them.
    Joey for coach!!!!
  • Quiet day today? How is everyone?

Sorry to hear Leighs bad news, Susan:(

Rob....watched most of the DVD before I went out this morning....think it might be one of those one's I'll have to watch a couple of times? The band sound awesome....but Chris' voice just seems gutless for most of the songs (IMO) God that man has the most expressive eyes....and he actually looks shit scared through most of the show... (mind you I would too).
So....I didn't not like it....but wasn't thinking WOW for Chris.....I'll watch it again tonight when I can actually sit back and relax, instead of trying to watch it whilst rushing around the house :D

I think I mostly bought it JUST for Outshined and the RATM songs, although Chris singing Sleep Now In The Fire still seems weird to me
