Right now, I only have tickets to Ohana in September. I am so very, very happy to be living in San Diego now, but I get the feeling that, when it comes to concert tickets, my choices will be to drive to LA (ouch) or to stay home. Can anyone in the area point me toward good places to learn about upcoming shows? I think I saw something about Kaaboo at Del Mar; anything else? All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.0

I'm not sure what type of music you are interested in, but the San Diego Reader usually has a good listing of what is coming up--that might be a place to start.ELITIST FUK0 -
RHCP tomorrow in Raleigh!
GN'R in August.
I may do Soundgarden in May. The Cult, A Perfect Circle and EODM are also on the bill, so that's pretty tempting.."It's best to live in grace before you're forced to." EV- 10/09/20140 -
Looking forward to Riot Fest this year. Thinking about doing a single day ticket for Pitchfork to see LCD Soundsystem but that will probably be the last big show I add until the fall. Weekends are filling up fast.Tvan said:

I've managed to get a pretty good handle on classical music concerts in the area (good options there!). But then I see how, if I want to see Richard Thompson this year I will need to go to Seattle, and it is disappointing. Most acts I would want to see probably are playing smaller venues. All those who seek to destroy the liberties of a democratic nation ought to know that war is the surest and shortest means to accomplish it.0 -
