Too many shows! Not everyone needs to go on tour all at once!

    Mdou Moctar - Woodstock, NY
    Bob Weir at Radio City
Wilco x3 at NYC (Yankee Hotel Foxtrot)
Lucius at Beacon Theater & Wellmont
    The Who at Philadelphia
    Solid Sound Festival

Plus I have tix for two PJ shows whenever.

Probably one or two others I am forgetting. Because of the Soild Sound Festival which I bought tix for back in November or December,  I am missing Neko Case at Woodstock and The Who at Bethel Woods.

Red Hot Chili Peppers tickets just arrived in the mail yesterday!

I have Jack White tickets, but I'll probably wind up eating those. I got them for my son, who loves Jack White. His sister got to go to her first concert (Pearl Jam) when she was eight, and he's now nine. Thing is, he's a much less mature nine-year-old than she was as an eight-year-old.

I also bought Paul McCartney tickets. I don't think I'll go, but maybe my wife can bring our daughter or a friend.

Still contemplating Roger Waters. I've never missed him when he comes around, but that's not really a reason to go. I had tickets pre-Covid, but got a refund.
    I SAW PEARL JAM

    So now it's:

My kid was 11 when we took him to his first show (Van Halen). Not sure he'd have been ready at 9 either. Definitely depends on the kid.

He’s very musical. Plays keys, guitar, and sings. He’s played in a School of Rock band for going on a couple of years now. They’ve played “The Hardest Button to Button” (guitar/vox), and this season, they’re playing “Seven Nation Army” (started on guitar, transferred to keys). So, yeah, kid loves JWIII, and he’s familiar with live music.

But I also see him trying out his ninja moves up and down the stairs of Agganis Arena, slipping on some spilled beer, and us winding up at MGH.

I didn’t really have to worry about that with the girl.
