True that. Concert earplugs are your friend. Death Grips opened for Ministry when we went. It was...an experience. 😳 (We went for Ministry.)

Don't know if you have been to The Agora since they did the renovation. Much needed. Much appreciated.

  • Just bought Alt J and Portugal the Man tix for MSG for $150 each.  Passed up on Tool tix because of price.

If the arena shows are going to be on average of $150 each I will not be attending many shows considering I buy 2 ea every time.

I'll stick to smaller shows in the Bowery collection and opt out of the bigger arena shows...

I can see All them Witches for $22 at Warsaw for gods sake...

Yeah it sucks having to be pretty selective with the arena shows. Prices are kind of wild. Best shows are small shows!

Are the shows around you all that you plan to attend not selling as many tickets as you might have expected?

I was looking at Avett Bros at the Fox Theatre here in Atlanta for Halloween night of their 2 night stand and it has significantly more tix available than I would have guessed and a decent amount left the night before too. Then 311 who I saw recently was the smallest crowd I have ever seen at an amphitheater. Just the other night Shinedown also had a good chunk of seats go unsold in the upper right and left balcony of the Fox too

Especially for such a large market this seems surprising. I would assume a lot of it must be attributed to covid? Curious if anyone else has noticed this in their city?

Wilco in Philly and MMJ in NYC - there were tons of empty seats - people still cautious about large gatherings

Going to my first show next weekend.    My favourite Canadian punk band, The Dayglo Abortions, are playing at a pub down at the end of my street.  Funny enough they were also the last band I saw, seeing them up island in March of 2020.

We've still got all sort of restrictions here in BC.  Vaccines required, capacity limits, having to stay a seat.  Going to be an odd one for sure.

Still, it's nice to end the shutout.   I do wonder when our government will allow full capacity at concerts again.  Would be nice to get some bigger shows rolling in.
