If I were Tiger my response would be... "who's Pat Perez?"
Yea but players are starting to question him now..i heard duval politely start to question him on air a few weeks ago..almost saying it's more mental with tiger rather than putting the blame on his back issues.
Of course. Dude is done. I'm just saying Pat Perez sure as hell isn't the guy to shut the coffin...

If it weren't for Tiger, Perez would have a upper middle class income with his career, if that...
Who cares who is saying it.....just another golfer on the tour calling out Tiger on all of his bullshit. I love it.

Kiss the ring, dude (half serious) but Tiger is respectful to Jack/Arnie and PP would be a nobody if it weren't for Tiger.

Not sure he would be a nobody without Tiger....would he be making as much money?? Obviously not. I don't really think his status on tour has anything to do with him saying all this stuff...I'm glad someone finally said something about all this nonsense. And I'm a big time Tiger fanboy.....have worshipped the guy for the last 20 years. But I think it's just time for Tiger to go away.

A complete nobody and much poorer. How many 2 time PGA tour winners from the early 90's are well known that are not named Brandel Chamblee (maybe there's something to trashing Tiger)?

I think he's done, but he has every right to give it a go. Would like for him to be more honest about it, but whatever. He has always been full of shit.

Dude is still a professional golfer which is pretty much the best job in the world. I just like that someone had the balls to point out all the nonsense with Tiger. Of course he has every right to give it a go, but it's becoming clearer that he's still not even close to 100% healthy and he's only doing this for business purposes. It's too bad that we'll most likely never see him compete at a high level again.

Awesome gig for sure. He owes a hell of a lot to Tiger. Phil is a generational golfer and he even says it.

I kinda disagree that it's for business purposes. Tiger doesn't need any of this. Hundreds of developers around the world will pay him millions to design their courses. He can lay back and design half a dozen courses at a time. That money is a lot bigger than Monster sponsorship money or Dubai paying him $1.5 mil to show up. I think it's a pride thing. He can't let it end with him limping off.

Does Tiger have mental issues on the golf course? Clearly. But his back is the main problem. At least that's my take.

I used to think the same but not anymore. Did he need some back "precedures"? Probably..Was he getting them done to be ahead of the aging curve as he got older?? Maybe..Does he have serious mental issues since his scandal and the yips with his driver?? For sure!!

I watched him warming up before Dubai..i texted my buddy that he looks scared. He hooked his first tee shot 70 yards left on a wide open par 5 fairway..then hit like 4 more bad shots on that hole alone..then he gave up...its all mental with this guy im telling you..

Dude was the number 1 player in the world since the scandal and has won on tour more recently than Phil. It's health...

Ya ever blown discs in your back? I have. Golfing once you've injured your back is damn near impossible. So in a sense, you are right. It is mental. But it's because he knows (not outwardly) that he can't make the same swings like he used to.

Pulled the trigger on PGA Tour Live. Sucks it's only featured groups, but still awesome to have in the background at work.

I have not..but I have strained my back and yes I don't see how I could have swung a club..

Maybe that speed freak Lindsey screwed him up not sure..(man she has to be crazy in the sack)

Here's my take on tiger..i think after his scandle in which he totally handled the aftermath the wrong way he lost all mental advantages he had over everyone..i think he truly wanted to be a soccer Dad for his young kids and decided basically not practice thinking he could come back at the same level. Which is fine..He has only known the top level for pretty much everyone in his career..golf, money, women, etc. Now he sees kids doing shit on the course he can't do and he can't handle it..thus using his back as more of an excuse than a reason. Does he have some pain? Sure most golfers probably do.

For me tiger winning another major would be the best sports story I could think of for many reasons.. he's just having issues showing face on tour right now...i think he can he just needs to stop worrying about what everyone is saying and just practice..

The thing here is, he was the number #1 player in the world after all of this until his back went. He won 5 times in 2013.

But the common denominator here is his back...
