    It's not like Mike McMahon was the next qb in line after Montana. They continued winning because they had the unbelievably good fortune of having another hall of fame quarterback replace him.

    I'm not entirely sure of that. Maybe... but it could be debated. It's not as if Brady was a top tier talent coming out of school.
