I am still absolutely numb. I had tears in my eyes with 2 outs in the 8th inning. With 1 out in the 9th, right as Puig came to the plate, I grabbed my phone wanting to record the last out. As soon as I touched it, Puig hit into the double play. I fell to my knees and cried like a baby. Knowing how much my grandma would have wanted to see that. Knowing all of the people that had waited so long for it. It was a rush of emotion that only the birth of my children can compare to.
It's not over dramatic. It is something I truly and honestly NEVER thought I'd hear. "THE CUBS ARE IN THE WORLD SERIES!!" Holy fuck! I still can't believe it. I still get emotional just saying g it answer knowing it actually happened. But im not happy just getting here. God dammit, I want to win the whole fucking thing! 4 more boys. Let's get it done!will myself to find a home, a home within myself
