I stand corrected from an USA Today Article from July 5th...mrussel1 said:
There are clear qualifications in the Con. regarding what are the qualifiers and disqualifiers for POTUS. Security clearance isn't in there. There is also no law to my knowledge that articulates it, or that had been through judicial review.pjalive21 said:

Godfather.
if you know something i dont please enlighten me
As a former secretary of State — and before that, a member of the Senate Armed Services Committee — she had a top-secret security clearance, and almost certainly maintains it. "I'm sure she does hold a clearance, and she should," Rep. Adam Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee, told Bloomberg News in February.
But Clinton doesn't need one to have access to intelligence briefings given to major presidential nominees. And if she's elected president, the laws governing security clearances won't apply to her.

Yeah going through an FBI investigation, having internal documents leaked, avoiding the press for 9 months straight, rigging the primaries, being exposed for having a private policy and a public policy, and the many more fuck ups, yup that sure does sound like a well oiled machine. You need to get your head out of her rear end and snap back into reality. If this was a republican you would have been having a field day.CM189191 said:

going through an FBI investigation
a mudslinging partisan investigation that resulting in nothing
having internal documents leaked
how is this Hillary's fault? are you suggesting she leaked them herself?
avoiding the press for 9 months straight
Don't see where this happened, but so what if she did? She seems like a busy woman. You would prefer she were using Twitter at 3am?riggingthe primaries
you misspelled 'winning'
being exposed for having a private policy and a public policy
Get my grasping pearls and fainting couch! Oh wait, this actually sounds Presidential. Like someone with a knowledge of history and political inner workings in order to get things accomplished.
"You just have to sort of figure out how to -- getting back to that word, "balance" -- how to balance the public and the private efforts that are necessary to be successful, politically, and that's not just a comment about today. That, I think, has probably been true for all of our history, and if you saw the Spielberg movie, Lincoln, and how he was maneuvering and working to get the 13th Amendment passed, and he called one of my favorite predecessors, Secretary Seward, who had been the governor and senator from New York, ran against Lincoln for president, and he told Seward, I need your help to get this done. And Seward called some of his lobbyist friends who knew how to make a deal, and they just kept going at it. I mean, politics is like sausage being made. It is unsavory, and it always has been that way, but we usually end up where we need to be. But if everybody's watching, you know, all of the back room discussions and the deals, you know, then people get a little nervous, to say the least. So, you need both a public and a private position. And finally, I think -- I believe in evidence-based decision making. I want to know what the facts are. I mean, it's like when you guys go into some kind of a deal, you know, are you going to do that development or not, are you going to do that renovation or not, you know, you look at the numbers. You try to figure out what's going to work and what's not going to work." [Clinton Speech For National Multi-Housing Council, 4/24/13]0 -

Here's what's particularly insulting about your 'common sense'. The majority of Americans can see through all this nonsense. We've been barraged with this narrative of corrupt crooked Hillary for 30 years now. And not. one. thing. has. stuck. The only thing that has stuck is the Republican narrative you continue to regurgitate.
Any reasonable person might look at that and say to themselves: "wow, she's had a pretty successful political career in spite of all this mudslinging". And I'd say that's a pretty good conclusion.
We've seen the facts. Read the emails. Listened to the hearings. Followed the news. She's proven to be smart, calculating, organized, experienced, and connected. These are not bad traits. Hillary is by far and away the most qualified candidate running for President. But for some reason, you keep reverting back to this 'drink the kool-aid and praise the queen' hyperbole. It's growing tired, and dismisses people who actually used their critical thinking skills to come to reasonable conclusion.
For your benefit, I'll repost the Hillary quote you couldn't be bothered to read. Be forewarned though, there are some complex-compound sentences in there:
"You just have to sort of figure out how to -- getting back to that word, "balance" -- how to balance the public and the private efforts that are necessary to be successful, politically, and that's not just a comment about today. That, I think, has probably been true for all of our history, and if you saw the Spielberg movie, Lincoln, and how he was maneuvering and working to get the 13th Amendment passed, and he called one of my favorite predecessors, Secretary Seward, who had been the governor and senator from New York, ran against Lincoln for president, and he told Seward, I need your help to get this done.
