I'm working, but banks and post offices are closed so I'm pretty much tidying up internal working, twiddling my thumbs, and posting on the forum.

I must be the only Cubs fan working today......LOL.... it is going to be a long wait for tonight's game.

I'm "working" but that has consisted of setting up a couple of workstations and frantically checking the site for poster/wrigley merch drops. Would've pulled the trigger on the crash jacket, then looked down and noticed I'm wearing the hoodie from the show - just can't rationalize the purchase.

Long wait for this game. 9:30? I'll be a wreck at work tomorrow.
I was so pissed when I found out that Saturdays game was on MLB network... I don't get that channel. luckily a friend stepped in and provided me with a password. they are exploiting us Cubs fans with these late starts. Geez... I have been tired for the last 3 days.
MLB is not friendly to the EST/CST zone.
I dont believe you are a hockey fan, Lolo. Rooting out of time zone in hockey playoffs is the worst. LA games start at 10:30 EST at home (and on the road vs. most Western Conf opponents, perhaps an "early" game is 9:30EST) during the week. Playoffs go on forever. Oh man, those two Stanley Cup runs were glorious but by that point you are so.damn.tired.

Good news is that your teams are still winning as you are dog tired. You can root for the Nats as well, this will keep the games earlier.

    Fucking hilarious!!!

Still way too early for me to think anything is funny. But this is about as good of a start, against a pitcher of this caliber, that we could have hoped for. Jake looked a little wild last inning. If he settles down here, I like our chances.

Fucking Rondon comes in and turns into himself again. Never feel good when he comes in with the game on the line. Always shits all over himself.

    KRIS FUCKING BRYANT

Bryant just bailed our asses out in this one. (I looked at that stupid car on the wall all game wondering how that affects potential HR balls) And I might have woken up the neighborhood! Gotta find a way to pitch through these innings now. MVP!
