Her fox and msnbc questions? Are you kidding me? You call that a press conference?

It doesn't matter what questions I have. what matters is that every politician be held accountable and face the press. It's the process that is critical and I think this says a whole lot about a candidate.
Did I call that a press conference? I believe I used the word "interview" which is not a synonym for press conference. So you just want her to answer questions from 10 people rather than 4 even though there's nothing specific you want to learn. I guess that makes sense...

If you plan on bidding to be the POTUS, you should have to have a press conference. And she's shady to begin with! Yet, her supporters will do anything to protect her from evil citizens who want nothing but answers.

LMAO. Control of her message = hiding from questions. And no, 99% are not about emails, but a bit. See my edited post above. Questions about her health is another thing she has to hide from as well...
Ha, no avoid stupid questions like conspiracy theories about her health. Thanks for proving my point.

Personally, I expect the federal LEADER to do press conferences. I really don't give a shit if a candidate does or not. They are doing speeches and interviews left right and centre during the election run, so I don't think the press conferences are necessary when she's not even the President yet, so I don't know why you guys have that expectation already. I think acting like that is "shady" is pretty damn silly. If she carries that into the Presidency, then that's a big problem that I am familiar with and it sucks. Harper did that to Canada and it was harmful IMO.

Comprehension would be much easier if you weren't contradicting yourself. You either demand it of your politicians and leaders or you don't. I get it, you think she should, but also she shouldn't because it will affect her message. She's already at 60% unfavorable- shit.
like I said the American people are the real losers here and making excuses for politicians only empowers them more.
I don't know what is so difficult to understand about this.

I am not making excuses, just stating why.

I want her to hold a press conference, but it's not going to happen.

I could stand outside her house with a megaphone asking for a press conference and it's not going to happen, so not sure how I can demand it.

I am comfortable voting for her as is. I personally do not need any answers that would come from a press conference

So just to be clear you're defending her position of not giving real press conferences, right?

Because politicians giving press conferences and being held accountable is the true subject matter here.

It's pretty fucking low on the things I'm worried about politically these days. If she goes on Fox, 60 minutes, MSNBC, etc. and answers questions, that fulfills my otherwise insatiable need for questions to be answered.

Edit/addendum - and there's those things called Debates coming up which will be the answers to policy questions that I really care about. I don't care about emails, the Clinton Foundation, Vince Foster or any other BS.

I'm more worried about my $27 that Tim Canova wasted in South Florida. I mean, $3.3MM in outside money pours into a district to try to alter a race and the best he can do is 43%? Yikes.

My god, are you people being this thick just to type more responses?

What cliffy was saying makes perfect sense to people that don't think everything is a conspiracy. Correct me if I'm wrong cliffy, but you said YOU WANT TO SEE HER DO A PRESS CONFERENCE. But you also know that IT IS NOT REQUIRED SO WHY SHOULD SHE?

That's not a contradiction. Think people.

By the way, holding press conferences does not make anyone accountable. Jesus, keep beating your heads against the wall over that.

Are you still weighing your Rules of Professional Conduct? Just curious if you would have tanked the case that HRC was assigned to back in the 70's. You never answered.

Oh and using quotes implies someone actually said what you are quoting verbatim. Common practice would be to cite the source. Can you do that please?
