Chicago Cubs baseball!!!

Guess Hammel was pissed with the early pull yesterday by Joe. Article on mlbtrade rumors states Cubs have control if they want him next yr if he pitches less than 200 innings but if he pitches 200 innings Cubs have him next yr at $12 mil I believe. It'd be wise to make sure he doesn't reach 200 innings.Alpine Valley 6/26/98, Alpine Valley 10/8/00, Champaign 4/23/03, Chicago 6/18/03, Alpine Valley 6/21/03, Grand Rapids 10/3/04

Yes the rumor was always Palmiero and Rynos wife.Degeneratefk said:
Which guy was it? Palmeiro?HesCalledDyer said:
Sandberg never left while Walton was there. Walton signed as a FA with the Angels in the 92/93 offseason. Ryno retired mid 94 and returned in 96.Degeneratefk said:
Yea, I remember that. He actually was a good player. I think Sandberg said he'd come back if Walton was gone.Wma31394 said:
Haha for sure..those guys didn't last too long on the cubs or in MLB I don't think. Rumor was Walton was getting it on with rynos wife...Degeneratefk said:Wow, I forgot about Dwight smith. I don't know why, but I always remember him wearing that stud earrings
EVERYONE and Rynos wife.Take me piece by piece.....
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....0 -
That's what I was going to say. I believe I heard rumors that Dave Martinez was a part of that as well, and those interactions led directly to us getting rid of Martinez and Palmiero.SPEEDY MCCREADY said:

Why it was even a close game is beyond me. LAD starting pitcher had an ERA above 9 going into the game. We've made guys with skyscraper ERA's look like damn Cy Young contenders all freakin season. Thank god we can actually hit good pitching.lolobugg said:what a shitty way to lose a close game.

Great come from behind win last night. Although arrieta looked awful. He needs to right his ship. It's starting to become concerning.will myself to find a home, a home within myself
we will find a way, we will find our place0 -
I think he'll be ok. Not dominating like last year but still very solid. It was just a recent start he went 8 strong 2 hit ball...Degeneratefk said:Great come from behind win last night. Although arrieta looked awful. He needs to right his ship. It's starting to become concerning.
Can't believe they won..chalked it up as a loss when I went to bed in the 8th..."Going where the water tastes like wine!"0 -
He didn't look great. That being said, if the ump doesn't completely bone him on 2 straight strike 3 calls, his line would be much different.Degeneratefk said:Great come from behind win last night. Although arrieta looked awful. He needs to right his ship. It's starting to become concerning.
