Impossible for me to pick. Ten is where it started, No Code is along with Yield in my opinion are the... for want of a better phrase 'best flowing' albums they have done. But without Ten there would be no No Code, so................?

Ten changed music It was 80's hair bands before this album You can say a lot of other bands started grunge, but Ten brought the main stream into it. Beside it being their best collaboration, the album is their most kick ass

Ten. All day. It isn't a knock on No Code to say that. Ten is just one of the top albums of my lifetime. And with the remix/remaster/whatever done a few years ago, it has never sounded better. Once, Even Flow, Alive, Why Go, Black, Jeremy, Oceans, Porch, Garden, Deep, Release...that is just an incredible track listing.

I think the sound and production of it is a big part of it and its identity. Allways listen to the original. "Never" to the remix.
"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"
Ten might not be the one i listen to the most but it's their best album. Not one song to skip. Every song is going for it. Seriously one of the best albums of all time. Any genre
I think Ten is horrible, never liked it. I love those songs live, but the sound on the album sounds dated to me...like two steps up from hair band music production. Even the cover art is embarrassing. Not a fan of this era at all.
"...Dimitri...He talks to me...'.."The Ghost of Greece..".
"..That's One Happy Fuckin Ghost.."
“..That came up on the Pillow Case...This is for the Greek, With Our Apologies.....”
Ten overall is a better album but it's close. I actually prefer the remix they put out that Brendan did. Never liked the reverb on the original tracks.
Definitely agree here. Ten is probably my 4th favorite, No Code my 5th, out of all PJ albums

I'll go Code not only because it's awesome but also because Ten has become too commercialized. If I here one more comment about the band going downhill after Ten I will jump off a bridge.
I think I appreciate No Code more becuse A.) it was much more of a band effort, not just music Gossard words Vedder and B.) I feel like they all had to work harder to achieve No Code. For Ten Stone and Ed came up with that stuff in their sleep, sure that's speaks volumes about their talent, but I appreciate things much more when I can see it was worked hard for. Every band member has significant writing credit on the album, and it wasn't just their usual style, Stone's riffs weren't so obviously Stone riffs, Ed wrote much deeper lyrics, Jack's fingerprints were all over the album, as were Jeff's, and Mike wrote such an amazing song in Present Tense, again a song that's much different than anything else he's ever wrote.
Although I will admit that Ten has not a single dud in the bunch, whereas I skip a few from time to time on No Code.
