Brazilian fans have been acting like idiots at a lot of these events. I couldn't believe how bad it was for the golf tournament....players and their caddies constantly asking the gallery to be quiet. My daughter has a good friend who is Brazilian. This is all perfectly normal for them and they don't see an issue with it. They see themselves as boisterous, expressive people and don't really mean any ill will. My daughter is still surprised when her friend laughs at someone who has a mishap, though.
