Ahh so jealous. Mine's literally in Worcester right now (where I live) lol. Hoping it comes tomorrow so I can wear it Sunday evening.

Who can tell me if the green one at Fenway is fitted or snap back ?
And the ones I have from global citizen?
And the South American tour one ?
Look at the back. If it has an adjustible plastic or velcro piece to change tightness its snapback. If the back is closed in just like every other part of the hat it's fitted

Ah I get it the snap back is purely referring to the plastic adjuster? I'm 37 and never realised that in my life or that I've never owned a fitted cap
Which PJ designs have been fitted? My noggin would never get in something that is made for the average nut
yeah I want a Red Sox one, could never wear the Cubs one being a Cardinals fan, BUT it being snapback killed the deal for me, a fitted hat would have been perfect
You don't remember us losing to them twice in the World Series then eh? I wouldn't wear that 'B' around St.Louis either!

Got my hat today in the mail today! I am a hat person, and never see myself wearing this hat unless I started driving trains. I was hoping it could be shaped to look better. Not a very workable hat at all. Colors are awesome but the hat style sucks. Just sits way up on the head. To make it look half way OK you have to pull it down to you eyes, or backwards. I will be shocked to see what they look like on fans going to the shows. Might be a good way to get in you drink of choice.
What size is your head? I have a big melon and the front third of the hat even looks big on me, but not so much that I look goofy. I wondered what the poor pea-sized head people will look like and if the hat mushrooms out on them.
Got mine yesterday in Worcester. Wearing it to the show tonight! Looks great.

OK, I think I spoke to soon! After seeing Mitchell's video, I have been working on the shaping. I now have shaped the hat to where it might be one of my favorite. I did a couple of other tricks besides the hair dryer. Put plain water in a mist spraying bottle and sprayed the inside of the hat, just the area that I wanted to shape to my head. Again using the hair dryer heated it up just like video. I think the water actually makes it easier to work. One more thing make sure you have clean hands. Take care and see you in Chicago!! .
To help shape the bill, something I always did as a kid was to wrap the bill around a baseball and secure it with a rubber band. Let it sit overnight and voila!
Thanks man. Just a word of warning. It will cause some wrinkles on the sides of the hat. These have really really high crowns, so take the process slow. You also don't have to curve the bill as much as I did. The main goal for me was for them to look less boxy on top, so that's where I would start with the dryer.

Can you give me a reminder of what your method was? I would really appreciate it...otherwise this great looking hat is going to remain on my shelf. Help!!

There is a video above but basically you use a hair dryer to get the inner mesh hot so you can mold it to your head. Again, it will cause some wrinkles on the back half of the hat, but to me its worth it so I don't look like Frankenstein. It looks even better after wearing it some time too.
