Pretty weak if that was the reason for "cancelling". Oh well, at least I've got tickets to see such artists as Bruce and Neil who still own a pair.

In order to cancel a tour, wouldn't the tour have to have been announced?

Europe was rumored for summer 2016 but the band decided to do Bonaroo instead. Nothing was cancelled as it was never booked or announced.

You're really splitting hairs man. Like Jeff said in the chat on Twitter last year, a tour isn't cancelled if it wasn't announced. They've had holds all over the place, that doesn't mean it's a done deal. Booked, holds, whatever you want to call it, it wasn't cancelled as it was never announced.

    Raleigh; that was cancelled.

It bugs me how they say they "cancelled" their tour. The tour never got announced. If they were able to back out of it that easily that I imagine contract never got signed. It seems they walked away from it in the planning stages. Not exactly cancelling. Cancelling is bailing on shows that have already been announced and the tickets have been sold. I'm sure bands try to plan tours all the time, and then go a different direction. That's not cancelling.
