    So I have been looking at some seats in section 82 (field box 82), and they look close to the stage, and are a few feet above the field, so the vantage point seems ideal. However, on a ticketing site it says that "view may be obstructed". I don't want an obstructed view, but, having been to Fenway many, many times... and several times for concerts, I cannot see why the view would be obstructed.

    Thoughts on that section from Fenway faithfuls?

    It is just the angle which will be fine. I have the same on my tickets that are grandstand 31 which is the same angle as your seats just back a "bit" lol.

    Try this site out. It shows no obstructions for your seats.

    Great stuff, thanks. I am a little worried that perhaps some stage scaffolding, or a speaker column might be in the way. I might call the box office Monday and see what they say about those seats for concerts.

    You can but I wouldn't bother. They will give you a safe response. Here is the view for Loge box 161. You can actually see the section you are looking for in front of it.

    Thanks. Still pretty far away, but unless I am in section a4, that will be the case.

    Yeah, I'd say it's the angle of the seat. They face toward the home plate and where you'll be looking is toward the stage in center field. You're gonna have to stand up for the whole show...like everyone else does. You should have an awesome Mikey view.

    They appeal to me because it seems like some of the closest seats that aren't on the field. Still have not bit the bullet on them, but I am getting close.
