Fenway Paaaaaahhhk
Things are different now, but for most of my childhood and younger adult life, I was relentlessly tormented and then brutally disappointed by the main occupants of Fenway Park. By paying attention, I stumbled into the day early Fenway 1 ticket purchase and subsequent 8 hour later cancellation by tickets.com. I tried to get them at the proper time but was white screened and was shut out. Just to rub my nose in it...4 days later I'm still looking at the 212.85 livenation charge on my debit card. I also have an email confirmation from the Boston Red Sox ticket office, but no tickets.
This may be the most frustrating thing the Boston Red Sox have ever done to me, next to retiring the number of Wade effing Boggs. Seriously...Wade Boggs. The same Wade Boggs who, dressed in pinstripes no less, rode a pony around Yankee Stadium. Just my opinion but he shouldn't even be let into Fenway Park with a ticket, let alone be immortalized alongside Ted Williams, Carl Yastrzemski, Johnny Pesky, and Jim Ed Rice. The frustration's up there with Billy Buckner, the 75 Reds, Roger Clemens leaving, see ya later Nomaaaah, the Chuck Knoblauch phantom tag, and Bucky F. Dent.
I mean, Jesus.
I moved away from New England at the end of 2002. The Red Sox have only had success while I've been gone. The closest I came to reveling in any glory was walking around New York city in a fitted B cap in October 21st 2004, the day after the Yankees epic up 3 game to nothing collapse. I surely went to no duck boat parades, saw no pennants being raised, I haven't even been in the ballpark for over 15 years. This SHOULD have been my triumphant return.
So I'm still looking for 2 together in the building for Fenway 1. They don't have to be fancy, just together.
PM me if you can hook a brother up.

"...I changed by not changing at all..."
I will live, and be at nite 2....
But as a Yankee fan, I would happily choose a three game collapse everyday of the week over the 86 years of futility the Red Sox endured. 27 world championships... Deal with it
OP, keep an eye on redsox.com. it's not uncommon for additional tickets to drop. The resale market may drop too as the dates get closer.
Good luck finding tickets for night 1.
But, I don't think Yankee fans need to worry about anything. Even if most fans my age only have been alive for 5-7 of the 27, that's still way more than most.

Don't get me wrong.... The three titles are a nice starter set for a franchise. But we may be posting about PJ50 before you guys hit double digits.
The Yankees - I cannot touch that...However, I will take my 9 Championships in a decade by all of our sports teams - :-)

Honestly I'm not blindly anti Yankee, I'm pro good baseball. I am however quite anti A-Rod AND anti Wade Boggs too, that beer swilling, everyday chicken eating, only padding his stats, doubled up pony riding, opposite field slap hitter.
Help a brother out.
