    They haven't started a new album, and at their current pace I'd say 2018 would be optimistic

    In order to cancel a tour, wouldn't the tour have to have been announced?

    Europe was rumored for summer 2016 but the band decided to do Bonaroo instead. Nothing was cancelled as it was never booked or announced.

They've had holds all over the place, that doesn't mean it's a done deal. Booked, holds, whatever you want to call it, it wasn't cancelled as it was never announced.
