Private businesses have the right to fire you for a failed drug test even if the drug is legal. The courts have already ruled on that in colorado. Not sure about Washington.

Now when weed comes off that schedule 1 list, that may change.

So the nfl basis it's decisions on federal law? It seems to me that these players need to use the loopholes afforded ...

There are no loopholes. When the players sign their contracts there is a clause stating they will agree to follow the CBA and all policies of the NFL in that agreement. They waive all rights in that regard.

Sean McDonough to replace Tirico for MNF.

Love it. I've always liked everything McDonough has done. Calls a great guy and has one of those voices that signals a big game when you hear it.

I guess Tirico is going to NBC and will replace Michaels at some point (hopefully a million years from now)

    Yep, I like McDonough!

Ray Lewis & Cris Carter gone from ESPN. Randy Moss added.

Sweet. Randy Moss was surprisingly tolerable on whatever early Sunday pregame show he was on last year. Think it was on FS1

McDonough will be very good on MNF.
And I like Moss, he'll be a step up over Carter just like he was on the field.
    This weekend we rock Portland

Lewis and Carter will still find a job commenting somewhere until they go full-Sapp.

Holy Shit! The Jags 1st round pick injured his knee. That's two years in a row having their #1 pick go down.

Reminds me of when the Colts drafted Steve Emtman and Quentin Coryatt with the #1 and #2 pick only to see their careers injury riddled.

Yeah, I hadn't thought of them in a long time. I was at the game when Emtman's knee blew up against the Dolphins ... back during the dark times of being a Colts fan. Coming off a 1-15 season and our two star draft picks finish the year on I.R.

It didn't help that the Colts played on a concrete slab covered with carpet ...

Is it just me or did Luck not play well before his injury?

I think it's just you. Playoffs almost every year with a pretty shitty supporting cast. Didn't have a good season last year, and maybe doesn't deserve to top that list yet, but it's smart money imo.

The NFL and the players association is a disgrace. The richest and most dangerous sport in the country with the biggest rosters

The biggest problem is an NFL player can be cut and their contract is not guaranteed. If that was somehow changed in the CBA, thise numbers would shift drastically.

My point exactly, the players association is a disgrace
