    I think that was everyone's impression. However it said $5 donation for the earplugs. I gave $10 and got 2 pairs. I felt bad asking for more even if it was for a good cause.

    I will be at 4 US shows and get what I can earplug wise for my Canadian brethren. No guarantees but we will see what I come out with on the other end and then go through the list.

    They didn't do actual sizes yesterday. It was s/m/l/Xl. It was sort of a crapshoot on sizing. I'm a size 10/11 depending on brand and got the size medium and they are perfect. I think the black/red ones are bigger sizes from what I remember the merch guy saying. I got a pair in each colour and don't really notice and sizing issues.

    Suggested donation. It's like the Met in NYC. They don't make you donate before they give you the earplugs but obviously that's the expectation. I gave $20 and grabbed 2, I would have felt like an asshole grabbing 4 and denying someone else at the show of any.

    Both were still available before show time.

    There were black hats still available after the show. I did not see the tan one at the stand I passed by on my way out.
