mrtsurt - The PearlJam Flip Flops are a major hit. Note the blue and orange Miami edition is only available at the Florida shows.

    Question?

At either show, does anyone know what time the 1st person got in line, at the merchandise truck?
Was there someone in line at 6am? 7am? Earlier than that? Later?

    Im just curious.

My lady was chatting with the driver of the merch trailer while I was in line and he said they pulled up at 9am and there were people in a small line before the trailer got there...... So that means people waited 4 hours to get stuff before it opened.... We showed up at 1:45 and the line took an hour.

I may be one of those in that small, 4 hour line, in NYC.

Anyone have an extra pin or 2 they are willing to sell? My stand ran out just as I got to the front. Boo. One for me and one for a 6 year old who's birthday is today.

Also have Ft Lauderdale pins or stickers or Miami stickers to trade.

I'll help anyone out that wants to donate to OYR!

Hey guys I have gotten a poster from every show I have attended, except tonight. They were all sold out before the show even started. If any of you grabbed an extra to resell etc I will gladly pay whatever you deem fair for your troubles!

Wait a few weeks and they'll eventually Sell it on pearljam.com for the same price as at the venue (in addition to shippings fees). Unless another 10cer has an extra copy, I'd recommend waiting for it to go on sale here than overpaying on eBay

Anyone got an extra Fort Lauderdale-specific shirt in medium (men's) they're willing to part with? I've got an extra Miami-specific shirt in medium to trade if desired

What time do doors open? Are u allowed to enter venue, purchase stuff and leave to drop off in hotel or car?

From past experience no re-entry to venue.

Do the merch tables accept credit cards? Or is it cash only? Does anyone have nay feedback o the first two shows and if posters/shirts were sold out at all? I know the more exotic items went quickly, like the sandals, but posters are what I hope are well stocked for every show.

I know hating on the merch line is fun, but I've got a genuine question.

If you go in when doors open to get to the merch table inside, that's about 3 hours before the show actually starts isn't it? So if you are lined up to get in when doors open, but your tickets are seats, you end up spending roughly the same amount of time waiting for the show to start that you would have spent waiting in the merch line if you got there early & waited, but you are now trapped inside the venue and you've got to mind your purchases all night so they don't get damaged, lost, or stolen.

Am I missing something here? I'm not quite seeing exactly what the difference is that makes getting stuff inside so much better. Personally I'd be happy as a pig in poop if I could rock up to the venue at 8pm & get myself the merch I want, but we all know that just doesn't happen anymore. I feel like I'd rather waste a few hours in the morning, then go home put stuff away & nap.

the merch tables in Miami took credit cards. i went to venue at 1pm to get merch...line too long so i went back about a half hour before doors and was able to get poster and stickers, but there wasn't a very big stack.
