    Heart wrenching scene at the end of the PSU Purdue game with senior D.J. Newbill breaking down, most likely realizing this was his last game in his career of playing college BB.

    Mad props to him and PSU for making a run in the tourney.

    That said, PSU football has kicked the crap out of Purdue football so I'm only feeling bad for D.J. Newbill. PSU athletics can suck the big one. Yeah, that's right. The Big One.

    No, it was 2 wins. Had to play in the bottom feeder round. They only won 4 conference games, so yes...2 wins in the tourney is a run.

    Went to my first big 10 bball game on Sunday.
    Md vs Neb.
    Feels weird seeing Md. playing outside the ACC.
    Not as much energy in the crowd as a typical ACC game.

    My daughter attends MD a freshman, I played summer league games at Cole Field House. Played opposite The great Len Bias way back in the day who played HS around the corner at Northwestern.

    Anyway, yes you are right seeing MD NOT playing the likes of DUKE or UNC certainly isAlso yes the spark of ACC is gone especially since the TERPS are new to the Big 10 playing teams out in the middle of the country. However if they continue to win consistently the enthusiasm will rise.

    I expect THE TERPS to play the K WILDCATS and possibly winning. yeah call me crazy.

    Big enough to go far in this tourney. I'm mad they blew that game against MSU but who knows this could be a blessing in the seedings. They can go far on the play of freashman Trimble but especially the play of senior Wells if he can stay out of foul trouble.
