I'm hoping the Gophers can duplicate OSU's success over Michigan on Thursday night. I just hope they do it in a prettier fashion! The Buckeyes almost let that game slip away, I hope the Gophers have a ten point lead from the tip. It will make my viewing much more pleasurable!

"Gig game" tonight between the co-leaders of the Big Ten, #2 Indiana and Wisconsin. I think tonight is when the reality of the strength of the Big Ten finally hits Wisconsin between the eyes. So far the Badgers have had it pretty easy through the conference schedule playing bottom dwellers Penn State and Nebraska, and dismantling a completely out of sorts Illinois. Tonight things change. Indiana is the real deal. This begins a brutal stretch for Wisconsin that features eight games against ranked teams in their next ten games. I expect the Hoosiers to handle Wisconsin without much trouble. A 15+ point win should be in play tonight.

Will be thrilled if the Badgers can get the win tonight, but realistically am just hoping they can keep it close.

Hoosiers down by 5 with 13 1/2 to go, I'll have to tune in. It's a special day when both Notre Dame and IU lose.

HUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE WIN!!!!! Most impressive win in the country I'd say. Not sure how long we'll stay in first but I'll enjoy it for now.

Well, color me shocked! Wisconsin just did what I thought would be nearly impossible for them to do. They went into Bloomington and knocked off Indiana. All the credit in the world goes to the Badgers in a well deserved win. I think it will be impossible for the pollsters to not include this team in the AP top 25 next week. And as for me, I guess I now have to consider Wisconsin to be much more a contender then I ever thought they were before tonight.

If we lose to Iowa Sat, which could be a huge letdown game, we won't be ranked. If we win we should be for sure. A good start to this tough stretch of 9 of 11 ranked teams. If they can get through that with 5-6 wins they should be good. I'm keeping my expectations in check. Just get in the tourney, which is still no small task with as tuff as the conference is. Word is Crean wouldn't shake Bo's hand after the game. Classy!!

Most underrated coach in the country. No one does more with less. Never gets huge recruits but always has a competitive team competing for the conference crown.

My Hawkeyes host Wisconsin tomorrow night and I know that Wisconsin is really hot right now but I have a feeling the Hawkeyes will win this one. Tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of former Hawkeye player Chris Street's death. He was killed in a car accident on the way to class the night before a game in 1993. (Look it up if you're not familiar with the story, it's very sad) I have a feeling Carver Hawkeye Arena will be rocking and the players will be very inspired tomorrow night!

Typical let down game. Came back from down big but couldn't pull it off. Upset me down late that they thought trading 2s for 2s was gonna work. A minute and change left down 7 you need to shoot 3s, pretty upset they were constantly driving to the hoop in that situation. It's simple math, trading 2s for 2 free throws does nothing. Tough week ahead, need to at worst split the Mich St and Minn games at home this week.

Off to Madison for the UW Minn game. Must win for my Badgers. Need to go to 5-2 in conf and not fall to 4-3 with a trip to columbus and champaign in the week ahead. Atmosphere should be awesome as always.

Was ugly for awhile. Very slow start for the Badgers (this is becoming a pattern that is not good at all). Refs let them play in the first half then were super quick with the whistle in the 2nd half. Entertaining finish. I'll take the much needed W!

WTF was Zeller doing? Guard the basket and you go to OT. After a play like that, I find it harder to yell at my kid's team when they let that happen.
    Alright, alright, alright!

Watching Wisconsin play Michigan is kinda like watching Scott Stapp fight Fred Durst for me. You want them both to lose and wind up severely injured and embarrassed but I have to admit, that was one helluva game.

    Wolverines looking good tonight
  • Hopefully IU doesn't have another forget to play defense game against Nebraska tonight. They got lucky that they lost but kept the number 1 ranking.

    Go Hoosiers!

    Go Hoosiers!

They could wear pirate patches and play Alzheimer defense and still beat Nebraska.

    True!

I forgot they are in Bloomington tonight. If they were on the road, I'd be nervous. IU has struggled on the road under Coach Crean.
