My problem is that I am travelling with two others, messed up my lottery choice (please don't ask how someone can do that as I'm not even sure myself) and now scrambling to deliver what we planned. Have found one so far and hoping to continue with that luck.

Auberge Saint-Antoine is voted #1 in Canada in 2015. Pretty sure the band will stay there. Foo Fighter, Waters, McCartney, Madonna, Metallica, they've all sleep there in the past.

We are staying there. It's not bad if you can split the room costs and it's a freaking castle. How often do you get to stay in one of those? Pretty stoked for the show and the extra days in Quebec City.

Three days in Qc City will be enough, but I would recommend you stay a full week and visit:
1- Parc-de-la-Jacques-Cartier (great provincial park, one hour drive north of the city) - if you're into hiking
2- Baie-St-Paul and La Malbaie (90 minutes drive east of the City) - if you're into great food, local beers, amazing scenery. You might want to sleep there for a night or two.

Quebec is such a beautiful city -- if I weren't already going to Bonnaroo and (hopefully) both Boston shows, I'd be making the 6 1/2 hr + trek from Massachusetts up there. To folks that have never been -- enjoy the show, but the architecture, great Quebec beer, and great food (poutine), too!

3 days is a litlle short. However, it can be chill outside in May, around 60F. so don't expect a lot of outdoor events. However, you will have a lot of things to visit in 3 days. Just walking the old city is a full day at least
