Imagine the extreme levels of bitching, whining, and complaining about the ticketing process, 10club, scalpers, etc if they were ever to play Red Rocks and do anything less then 100% fan club only.
Imagine the extreme levels of bitching, whining, and complaining about the ticketing process, 10club, scalpers, etc if they were ever to play Red Rocks and do anything less then 100% fan club only.
It would still happen if it was fan club only, shows would sell out through just the fan club and people would still get shut out
...got a mind full of questions and a teacher in my soul...
Not if they play 3 shows! Places they need to add to this tour, 3 nights Red Rocks, 2 nights the Gorge, 2 nights Hollywood Bowl, 2 nights Shoreline Amphitheatre and then whatever else!

red rocks is the best place i have ever seen a concert at and i'm old and have seen hundreds of shows even if pj never make it there again for anyone who loves concerts this place is worth the trip
I've always wanted to see a show at that venue. I did read capacity is only around 10000 people, do you think that's why PJ hasn't gone back?
The official capacity for concerts is 9525 Lots of bands do multiple nights there. Im sure if PJ would play there again it would be a 2 night mi minimum.
No one has ever played more then 4 nights at a time. Maybe they can break that record.

The only venue I liked more than Red Rocks was The Gorge, BUT totally agree with helplessdancer... It is definitely worth the trip!!! Just saw My Morning Jacket there last August and it's an INCREDIBLE place to see one of your favorite groups play, so don't wait to see if PJ will return here... JUST GO!!

Not true about 4 nights....saw Phish there in 2009 and was 4 nights. And DMB played 4 (?) or more nights in 2005.
Incredible venue!

You made my point. No one has played 5 or 6 or more nights in one stand. Only 4.
Can you guess the only band other than phish and dmb to play a 4 night stand without using your google machine?

Huey Lewis and the News!!!
now that is some next level trivia right there!
Just another example of the useless shite that stays in the human brain.
Plus I'm a Colorado resident who has visited the Red Rocks museum numerous times.
i'm pretty certain PJ would play a minimum of 4 nights in 5 days when they go back... I've seen jeff ament mention red rocks a few times over the past 2 years in interviews... so it's coming one of these days

this has felt like the year since I've read at least 2 interviews recently with Jeff saying he would like to get back to Red Rocks... now with the Rise festival i'm 99% convinced red rocks is happening the week before...
its booked pretty solid already but there is a HUGE open gap from 7/4 through 7/11... blues traveler plays every 7/4... so that leaves 7/5, 7/6, 7/7, 7/8 open before the rise festival... coincidence? I think not
