I honestly think there was a spike in membership after the 2012 London & Wrigley shows where scalped seats were up around $1000. There were scumbags getting on board to make money the next tour and fans signing up to avoid the scumbags.
I always laugh that people hide their last three numbers like it's their social security number. I'm 218178. I rejoined in 2000 after lapsing from my original membership in 1994.
it has been explained. The last 3 numbers are insignificant so people dont have them memorized. Its not a security concern.
