Ten Club Number Rankings

DB41DB41 Posts: 539
There have been a ton of threads speculating as to how many current active members there are, but I've never seen one about where different numbers lie in the pecking order. I would guess that there are a lot more active members above 350,000 then below. Does anyone have a guess as to how many members there are and where they think the mid-point would be? Personally, my number is 413xxx (joined around 2005-2006 I believe) and based on the seats I've gotten through ten club, I'd guess that I'm in the 60th to 70th percentile.

I know this is pure speculation...

My number is similar to yours, I am curious where do you usually get seated? I have only used my membership before for philly in 2009 and got row 9 by luck so I really don't know where I fall.

I'm usually 2-3 sections from the stage about 15 rows up.

Current numbers being given out are in the high 500,000's?

That is a running total for THE LAST 25 YEARS or so!

I would say active members number far less than half that amount.

I did have a number in the 400,000s in 2009 but let the membership go. rejoined in 2013 with 506xxx. Imagine in the last 3 years it would be around the high 500,000s by now.

218XXX don't even remember when I originally joined I think 2000...and the past 5 years its really paid off with GA tickets and that's because of the lottery...so very thankful, before that I was in the middle of the pack with seats closest being 10 rows back behind GA

That was a big year for memberships. I joined in late summer 2003 and i'm 308,XXX. Last two shows in New England (Boston 2010 and Hartford 2013) I had seats back on the floor, which is funny because in 2006 I had wing seats 2 section from the stage in Boston. Looking forward to seeing how my seats different in the South where the markets are less saturated.

They should reshuffle all the numbers, to reflect actual seniority. Haha. So, if you have members 100, 101, and 102, and 101 leaves, then 102 changes to 101. But do that for the whole group.
Also, where does the number start? What the first member number? I hope its not 1.

I love how people use xxx to avoid listing their full number.

What harm can come from divulging one's full number?

    identify theft?

It isn't a total.. You lose your number from 1994, they don't give it to someone else. You sign up again, you get a new one. The active total is nowhere near this.

First number is 10 (Jeffrey Ament)
    then 23 (Edward Vedder)
    then 69 (Michael McCready)
    then 99 (Stone Gossard)
then 107 (David Abbruzzeese, he still gets great seats)
    then 250 (Timothy Bierman)
    251 is Kat
    252 is Sea
    and so on...

some bozo(s) must have their member number tattooed, they will be the first to complain.

nothing a "R.I.P." additional tattoo cant remedy, use it as another excuse to deform their body
