PJ - Bogota FooFighters - Portland Ben Harper - Portland Mad Season/TEMPLE OF THE DOG - Seattle Turnpike Troubadours - Spokane/Seattle
Bush? Maybe generational, but there was a time no self-respecting rock fan would be caught dead at that show ; )
And probably still shouldn't be
I was trying not to judge. I remember going to a Foo Fighter show at DV8 in Seattle when they did a smaller venue tour. Part way through the show Grohl took off his top layer to reveal a white t-shirt on which he'd written BU$H in black sharpie. Pretty funny.
I was at that show also! 98 I believe. Great memory, I don't recall the shirt but remember the show was awesome.
Definitely a cool show. I've never seen a bigtime band in a small club any other time.

Ok i'm moving Foals show up to number 1 now. and everyone else gets bumped down a notch. Saw Foals tonight and they were fantastic! Lead singer, Yannis, apparently likes to jump off the balcony onto a crowd of people (like a young Eddie Vedder used to do). Did it tonight and the crowd was really into them. and he crowd surfed a few times. Also Lot of "moshing" which i was kinda surprised by. https://youtu.be/V_J6qkNi0qI

I only went to 2 in 2015 as well 1) Dave Matthews Band at Alpine Valley 2) Neil Young and Promise of the Real at Summerfest
But seeing PJ in Milwaukee last Oct, then DMB and NY all within 12 calendar months is definitely the peak of my concert-going career so far. Neil was a bucket-lister for me and that was my first time getting to see him. DMB at Alpine is always spectacular.
1) U2 both shows Vancouver 2) Mumford and Sons, Squamish Fest 3) Royal Blood, Vancouver and Squamish 4) Black Keys and War on Drugs, Pemberton 5) Foo Fighters or Muse, Vancouver
1. Chris Cornell, Lakewood Civic Auditorium, Lakewood OH. 2. J Roddy Walston and the Business, Musica, Akron OH. 3. Pixies, Masonic Auditorium, Cleveland OH. 4. Modest Mouse, The LC, Columbus, OH. 5. Hellyeah, The House of Blues, Cleveland OH.
We also went to what appears to be the last Mayhem Fest at Burgettstown PA. That would rank as honorable mention because it was definitely more my husband's gig, it was hot and they had everything turned around in the venue to make up for the lack in attendance.
Looking forward to going to some great concerts this year! We have a January 15th PJ friends date already planned. Looking forward to some PJ tour dates in 2016!
