    In no particular order:

Faith No More, Boston, August (it was a toss up between this show & their Boston show in May - setlist from August wins out)

Tool & Primus, Monster Mash, Tempe, AZ Halloween. Tool's sound was only meh at times (vocals were in & out all night - par for the course w/ Tool) but seeing them open w/ 'No Quarter' dressed as Led Zeppelin alone was worth the cross country flight.

Puscifer, Boston, November..... What an amazing show (luckily Maynard can / will sing these songs - I would see them again in a heartbeat)

    Foo Fighters, Fenway Park, July

    Battles, Boston, October

Honorable mentions include PJ in Central Park ( as good as it was, it wasn't better than any of my top 5) and the Pixies playing right in front of Boston City Hall @ Boston Calling over Memorial Day weekend)

    7) Smashing Pumpkins at Blue Hills Bank Pavilion Boston, MA

Actually my full list of shows for 2015. Got sort of busy finishing up my undergrad so only got to check out the stuff I really felt like I couldn't miss. All fantastic shows. Pleasantly surprised Smashing Pumpkins wasn't just okay. Pearl Jam would be higher on the list if I wasn't so far away that I at times felt like I wasn't actually there. Also, not a lot of big fans in my vicinity kind of killed the vibe for me a bit as well. That solo during Alive, though...

It was a busy year so I only saw three bands perform:
    1. U2: two nights at msg. They put on one hell of a show!
    2. The Get Up Kids: Stone Pony, Asbury Park, NJ. One of my all time favorite bands that I followed around in college. They are from Lawrence, Kansas and are one of the great emo bands from the mid 90's.
    3. PJ central park. This show was just ok for me, Nothing bad nothing great. It was just an average show that I'll remember more for the scenery around me than the actual concert.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......

02/06- Joe Russo's Almost Dead- The Paradise: Probably the best GD project I've ever heard other than the real thing. Interesting takes on classic and tons of imrpov.
05/11- Faith No More- Orpheum: Waited 20 years to see these guys and they did not disappoint. Mike Patton's voice is still perfect.
07/03- Grateful Dead 50- Soldier Field: I've never seen so many happy people at a concert before. Incredible crowd and Trey killed it.
08/16- Phish- Merriweather Post Pavillion: Incredible second set with two huge jams. Tons of bustouts in the first played very well.
11/21- My Morning Jacket- Orpheum: These guys just keep getting better and better. They played about 6 songs from It Still Moves which was awesome.
"What can you expect when you're on top? You know? It's like Napoleon. When he was the king, you know, people were just constantly trying to conquer him, you know, in the Roman Empire. So, it's history repeating itself all over again."

2015 was such a remarkable year for concerts. (At least for me personally)

I got to see my 3 favorite bands of all time (FNM, PJ, Tool) in 3 consecutive months.

Throw in a couple of Primus shows, Foo, pixies, another FNM show, Tallest man on earth, Battles & more, and I can say with confidence that this is probably my greatest year for shows to date (a time frame that spans 23 years to boot!)
