    admins told repeatedly not to talk about it..me and a few others contiunue the talk and ban me and the rest for a few days
    my mistake..i knew i cant do it and i continue.,.,i have no excuse..admins do their job.
    and after my experience at facebook page with 30k members..i know how taugh is to keep a forum in balance..we are here for fun and same time some other working..i respect that now,more than before

    I agree- and I said it earlier- you literally have to work to get banned.

    There's some 'wiggle room' for those that like to be aggressive in their approach. One can't be too aggressive- for some... that's a deterrent and I'm pretty sure moderation exists to keep people from being deterred and to encourage participation.

    In your case, the integrity of the band or the band's work was the issue. Moderation is fair to preserve that as well.

    It's not hard to stay in bounds.

    I do agree with this. I find that the more skilled trolls get away with way too much while thise who actually contribute something worthwhile but are "more emotional" than some others are more likely to get banned.... Really I just don't like lifetime bans. I feel like all bans should have an expiration date, while having no limit on how many times someone gets banned for whatever stretch if time.

    All that said, i have been finding the recent trend of (feigned?) incredulity about getting banned from those who seem to be putting directed effort into getting banned fairly weird and amusing. They go out of their way to say things they know will get them banned, and then act offended when it finally works. I'm not sure I get that.
