9 hours is definitely a one day drive for us, no sweat... leave at 6am and you're checking in @ 3pm... perfect

I get a kick out of the spoiled northeast people complaining about how far of a drive it is to shows (really, I'm just jealous). A close show for me is usually a 7 hour drive or two hour flight.
I just want to clarify that I wasn't complaining. I will gladly drive the 8-9 hours.

Thanks for the responses everyone about driving to Toronto. I might fly. I might not go at all.

I'm going to stop planning until dates are actually announced lol.

Did Toronto in 2005 and loved it. Drive is a day but stop and see Niagara...we hit up Hockey Hall of Fame and took a boat ride to an island that was cool. Went to Queen street where the freaks are....lol. We had a blast. Also stayed in an old hotel right in town. About 3 blocks from the venue. Inexpensive and an historical landmark if I remember correctly.
Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!

Hockey hall of fame would seem like a must. I'd love to see Vlue Jays but they are away that weekend.

I don't think anyone is complaining or spoiled. I live halfway between NYC and Philly and I still drive to places like Toronto, Chicago, and Cincinnati for shows. Those are all 10+ hour drives.

Portland, ME here and I'll do the Philly drive in my sleep. Have done it a few times now. Usually leave around 4am and I'm there at noon. Love it.

I wouldn't say people are complaining but as a West Coaster I do find it mildly entertaining that someone would split up a 9 hour drive over 2 days. That's definitely a 1 day'er for me. I think anything under 12 hours is a 1 day'er for me. I've even done longer. We had to split the drive from Edmonton to the Gorge on the way there (due to leaving after work) but we did the trip back in a single day. I think that was around 15 hours. That's adults though. If your bringing kids a 9 hour trip would be grueling :)

I once split up a five hour drive between Boston and Montreal over two days. But I was on vacation and had never seen Burlington, VT before so...

to be fair I did leave at 3 pm and didn't feel like driving until midnight. and oh yes I hit a 100 year old flood that closed the thruway. but yeah, next time I go I'd still split it over two days if I have the time. on the way home we did the 9 hours with one 15 minute bathroom break.

Can I complain I get shows in my area but I can't get a 10 club ticket lol...1 out of 8 last time around. I'm not as worried b/c TM always has some decent ticket drops. I've gone from I can't wait to see where my seat is to I hope I get in the building.

Can I complain because they didn't consult me about when I was going to be in Florida?

Goddamn rude, if you ask me.

Yes, go ahead. Your free to complain. I made a executive decision and decided this is a non-complain free zone/thread

If they really are playing Charlotte again I really hope it's PNC pavilion and not Time Warner Arena again. That venue blows

I remember reading an interview with Jeff a few months back where he said he wanted to revisit some of the old venues the band hasn't played in a while and red rocks was one of them. How many nights would they have to play? I'd say at least 3
