Irritating Office Behavior

yes! thank-you!
I stayed late yesterday...worked 8 hours straight with no break. Today my boss just keeps coming up with stuff for me to do, and she has me sit on the phone while she's at home and logs into my computer and looks over the email box, "what are you going to do with this email? how are you going to respond?" "what's this? have you taken care of this?" "ok, this is important, write this down, this is how I want you to answer this person, write this down, are you writing this down?"
I *have* to write it all down, because then she comes in, "where is everything I told you to write down?" Then she asks me, "why haven't you got this done?" uhhh...because you had me sit on the phone with you for an hour while I had to go through each and every email with you...you do realize if I quit, you'd have nobody to do anything for you and you couldn't run your own company because you refuse to learn how your company is run...I've been here for 5 months now, I think I can handle the office.
there is so much more...sooooooooo much more. The joy of life comes from our encounters with new experiences, and hence there is no greater joy than to have an endlessly changing horizon, for each day to have a new and different sun.

This one supervisor just can't do his job right and it is really annoying as hell...he's lazy and it shows and the drivers know it and he's nonchalant about his job and it's pathetic, and i just don't get why he hasn't been fired yet....it's not fair to the drivers who have him as a team leader, it's not fair to the other supervisors who have to pick up his slack, and it's not fair to me who also has to pick up his slack....Music is my Religion and Pearl Jam, my Savior!

Our company is nice enough to bring in lunch to celebrate birthdays each month.
Without fail, our accounting department descends on the food within a minute. OK, fine. Maybe working with numbers makes one extra-hungry. However, afterward they squirrel away the good amount of leftovers, leaving nothing for anyone else. They even did it with my b'day lunch stuff last month when I thought I maybe might bring home dinner for my guy and me.
Nothing left. They do this EVERY FUCKING MONTH.
Obviously not the end of the world, but irritating as hell!
(I may have posted about this before but it happened again today. Argh)

a girl I used to work with was like that. She was always asking questions that was verbatim in the original email. I once replied with "SCROLL DOWN" and highlighted the part she didn't fucking read. She replied "thanks a lot.....was that necessary?".oftenreading said:I sent someone an email today with instructions on what needed to be done, the date it needed to be done for, and the file number. She emails back with "sure, I can do that for you. I'll just need the date you need it by and the file number".
?? So you stopped reading after the first six words or so and just blatted back a reply?
Obviously, it was.

I know that my drunkest week nights are definitely the ones that follow a day of reconciling and book balancing, lol.

The weird guy in my office who loves women with big biceps eats with his mouth open. And talks while eating.
I guess it's not so much irritating as it is disgusting (moreso in the morning when I'm just trying to put a schmear of cream cheese on my goddamn bagel).0 -

I once flipped out on a friend of mine at work. He was smacking his entire mouth, eating like a bloody cow. I finally had enough and said "TREVOR! CLOSE YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU CHEW!". he looked at me like I was an alien. but it's fucking gross.ldent42 said:

I had to call out a friend who does this in public not too long ago. It was really awkward and his feelings were hurt I think, but it simply HAD to be said. It was so that I couldn't even eat with him because it was making me sick to my stomach, and it was extremely embarrassing too, since others in the restaurants can see and hear it ..... The brutal thing is that calling him out once wasn't enough. I had to call him out a again some time later. And even more brutal, he STILL does it at least half the time!! I guess eating with an open mouth and slurping and loudly sucking on fingers, etc etc can be an actual habit for some people, like nail biting, and habits can be hard to break. All I know for sure is that both his mother and his wife seriously dropped the ball.HughFreakingDillon said:
