Best thing to do is post pics of it with any description. Yeah, I'd say $100 per ticket is steep to most. If I were you I'd at least do $50 or less, just my opinion... I think you'd get more involvement with the $50 mark. If you need the money fast, then I'd just straight out sell it. But like someone else said, you'd probably not get many takers for $1600 for opened and played Benny. I'd think more in range of $1200 here. Good luck.

    I agree. A sealed Benny is $1600.
I'm not trying to discourage you OP - it's your raffle and of course you should do what you want. But I'm shocked to know that anyone would pay $100 for one raffle ticket for an item that is worth $1200 at most. You usually see that kind of price when the prize is a house or something. I actually thought I read that wrong in the beginning of the thread and said something about how silly I was for thinking one ticket would be $100. But hey, if there really are people out there willing to pay that much for a 1 in 20 shot, great.
Also, it's very nice of you to think of charity while you're at it.
i personally would rather spend 100$ on a chance for a benny. actually, i wouldn't even consider spending 100$ on a lighter, let alone 500....

they don't have 100$ for a shot at the Benny, they're all broke spending 500$ on fucking lighters... silly shit

But they're guaranteed to get the lighter. I don't think there is any reason to compare that.
i don't see where I compared any one thing to another. just saying people don't have the 100 american to blow anymore because they all spent 500 american on fucking lighters. which is silly shit.
Oohhhh. Yeah, well.... it's down to $240 now. ;)

What about $1600 for a Benny? Or $800 for a poster? It's just about collectibles man. Not sure why the fact that it happens to be a lighter in particular has you wondering.
So are you entering the raffle?

Would have no idea how to draw live but that would be cool. Not on facebook and won't. I've only traded one time with one person on these boards so there is absolutely no biased in who will win it. It's the luck of the draw. Going live in another thread...give me a few minutes to put it up....

Can this be used via a smartphone? Or do I have to be in front of a stationary computer camera?

There is a Ustream app you can download.
  • May I make a suggestion? Lots of these single prize raffles draw a second name who wins their entry fee back. That may entice a lot more people since you then have a 1 in 10 chance of either winning the Benny or winding up where you started.

Not sure if it would entice more people because the Benny itself should do that on it's own. Never-the-less, great idea and it's been implemented. Thanks!
