2nd half meltdowns have been the USMNT specialty since the WC last summer. Just brutal.

    That it has. Annoying.

Yeah not sure what they were doing there letting Brooks run the length of the field with no one on him. Some pretty passing right there

This is fucking awesome. I don't care if it's a friendly. U.S. just doesn't come back when they're down on the road like this....never happens. Especially against a team like the dutch.

Yeah, man. That is wild. I did not see that coming

Ha, I'm glad I didn't bet on this game! That was a little crazy. I agree, friendly or not that was not expected. I loved seeing so many of our young players getting minutes, and having an impact. I also love seeing a couple of local Seattle area boys (Yedlin and Morris) out there shaking things up. We still have a long way to go, and this was "just" a friendly, but it was a fun game to watch. Frustrating and exciting at the same time.

Yep. Great to see some of the young guys make some things happen. And to win against a team like that....just great stuff all around. Nice to be on the other end of a 2nd half meltdown for once.

Watching NYCFC after the CL final game earlier makes me so much more frustrated than watching NYCFC on a normal day.
Oh my god we won. For the first time since our home opener. :open_mouth:

The USMNT is full of surprises this week! Again, "just a friendly, long way to go, blah, blah, blah", but I'd rather be saying that after beating NED and GER, than after losing both friendlies.

Absolutely. Klinsman has taken this team to Mexico, Italy, Netherlands and Germany and won. Pretty damn impressive regardless of circumstances.

Not a bad week. Wood's first 2 goals for the US are game winners against the Dutch and Germany on the road. Crazy.
