Baez deserves to be sent down. Good fielder but my god he is awful at the plate. I mean just downright loathsome.

No construction during home games. Though if there are night games, there will be some construction during the day.
So the construction workers are guaranteed about 60 days off during the summer. Great.

I know it's only opening day but I saw some of the same old typical cubs last night..lazy Castro not getting to popups that should be a can of corn.. Lack of clutch hitting as mentioned by last exit..not able to lay off sweeping curve balls a la Corey Patterson (yes I know wainwright has sick stuff), Olt basically calling himself out on strikes by running to first on a questionable check swing before the ump makes the call..soler he's a tank but can he field his position?? 62-100 is on the radar.

The most shocking stat I saw was that Lester has not attempted a pickoff move for 2 years..yes I'm talking about just a throw over to first to keep a runner close..155 mil and you have the yips throwing to first??
