  • I have so
Much to say.. So little tact with which to say it. So I'm going to say, unless you have ever stared at yourself in a mirror in complete and utter disgust with yourself over where you have ended up in life, you will never get what is happening in the lives of those hooked on hard drugs. And if you can't understand with compassion and earnest knowledge of where they are coming from, then you judging them
Makes you an inconsiderate and heartless jerk. Period. MY opinion. And I'm done.

I love the venom that can so easily be spewn at people on this board who so many know so little about... but just as easily spared for, in this particular situation, junkies that presumably have had it much tougher.

I would wager that most people on this forum intimately understands the effects of alcohol and drug abuse- either through direct experience or that of a loved one.
And yet still so quick to judge.. That's what angers me most.
I don't know why this angers you so. This is not a thread about you.
I see kids in local hangouts, playgrounds etc smoking weed for something to do. Some as young as 11. When we walk by them I say to my own kids don't ever associate with those losers.
The same can apply for an adult. When I see a "professional" after work snorting coc I deem him a loser.

It's not judging - an 11yr old smoking weed on a playground is a loser much the same as a suit and tie sitting in his office doing a line.

You aren't judging? This post is the bery definition of judgment.

I did coke once about 20 years ago. Luckily, i didnt like it. Unluckily, my g/f at the time loved it. I smoke pot all the fucking time. So you are calling me a loser. That is not fact. That is fucking judgment.

Get over yourself. alcohol was illegal once too. And between that and pot, most people with half a brain could tell you which of the two is more harmful in all facets of society.
No. I am not judging. Young kids smoking pot on a playground for something to do are losers that do nothing buy endorse the actions of doing drugs. Fact.

You did something once 20yrs ago is not considered recreational use.

You are not a loser for smoking pot all the time.

I know alcohol was illegal once. It is no longer, much the same as for personal use of pot really.

Having some wine with your dinner on a Saturday night is not the same as doing lines of coke on a Saturday night. Unless they make cocaine legal, which last time I checked is not going to happen and I really can't see anyone who would advocate for that anyway.

I am not putting any debate out about alcohol vs pot anyway.

You really need to learn the difference btwn fact and opinion. We really cant have an honest discussion when someone can state unequivocally that calling someone a loser is a fact.

The fact that you so quickly edited the original post says a lot about your own thoughts on your position.

The word fact should've been placed in front of the sentence about your 20yr ago use not after the playground sentence.

The placement of that word is irrelevant. And honestly, i am on an ipad and the format in which i type ends up the same as how it posts.

You still state "I'm not judging" and follow it immediately with the "these kids are losers" statement, which is the meat of my point.
Ok. That makes sense. I guess it's better to say "I think" these kids are losers.

This is just bugging the shot outta me. I guess cause you ( PJFan) remind me sooooooo much of myself, when I was so young and stupid in the ways of life, that I thought I had the right to
Make Pop-and unfounded judgements. I don't understand your twisted fucked ip blanket judgement against peoke you have no fucking clue about as people; anymore than any knee understood when I was guilty of doing the same. I don't know your story, but I know mine. And I know that I was no better than you are now back then. I can tell you some fuckrd up shut that I've seen in my life. I can tell you honestly that I have survived things that would have killed most people. I still bear scars too shameful to explain, in places only intimate partners would know. And all are borne of the mind of sick individuals on drugs. Yet, having fallen into
I was the WORST of the judgemental people!! You couldn't hold a candle to the fucked ip
Kind of judgemental I used to be. But once you know the story behind the remarks, it's somewhat understandable; never excusable, but understandable. So whenyou
Make unfounded judgements, and state them as concrete fact, it pisses me the fuck off, cause I see the piece of shit I used to be in your statements.( your judging and condescending words). God, I was evil. These days, I try to see every side. But when you get called out, come out.. Face up.. Don't gargle excuses back. Own that. You fucked up. Period. You cannot make a statement like that, and then be shocked that people are offended by what you said. Especially since you don't know what the fuck you're even saying!!! First of all an 11 year old kid smoking pit in a aygeound is WAYYYYYYYYY different than an adult smoking pot... WAY different. Secondly, you keep trying to defend a biased opinion as a fact. You look stupid doing that.. Believe me, I've been called out on this sorta thing many times! But I'll end this with a story to hold my last and final point on this matter.

I have scars that COVER both my forarms, from the elbow to the wrist. My
Drug addled mother married a Cuban fucktard. He mercilessly abused and tortured my oldest sister and I for 7 years. Each and every one of those scars, that bastard gave me! The scar on chin, he gave me, my first broken bone outside of childhood rape, he gave me.. The scars across my ankles he gave me. He was Cuban.
That's the story. My point is: you saying those who use drugs in a recreational format are losers, is like me saying every Cuban in the planet is a psychotic piece of shit.

    NOW I'm done.

You know, I don't think I'm ever going to be prepared to call an 11 year old kid a "loser". If that kid is smoking pot regularly, then there's probably something going on in his or her life that isn't that great but which that kid has no control over (like divorce, parental violence, neglect, etc.). The pot is the effect, not the cause, of the problems.

This thread is a major low point for AMT. We might all consider doing what I'm about to do to almost all of my posts on this thread: edit them to say what this thread is: "Fail".
