  • I have so
Much to say.. So little tact with which to say it. So I'm going to say, unless you have ever stared at yourself in a mirror in complete and utter disgust with yourself over where you have ended up in life, you will never get what is happening in the lives of those hooked on hard drugs. And if you can't understand with compassion and earnest knowledge of where they are coming from, then you judging them
Makes you an inconsiderate and heartless jerk. Period. MY opinion. And I'm done.

Yes. Judging people from their addictions is inconsiderate and heartless jerk traits.
I am not talking about addicts. I am talking about people that use them recreationally.
Sorry, if you need to snort a line of coc on a Friday night for something to do, you better look at yourself or your friends and ask if you are an addict or recreation user.

So, again I am not starting a thread on people and their addictions. I am saying that people who snort coc , inject heroin on a Friday night for something to do are losers.
Thank you for that clarification. I 'get' that thought, and idea, but I do not get how that judgement comes. Because it is not being a loser, it's ignorance. And that is the factor under which most people who become addicts get crushed. I started drinking because I couldn't stand people. But I got bored just sitting online in chat rooms. But I couldn't bear to go out.. When I realized alcohol was a great way to 'loosen up', I tried it. That led to more drinking, which in the end Lead to all sorts of really bad decisions. But that didn't make me a loser.. It made me disillusioned. I was ignorant. Eventually I knew there was a problem, but didn't seek
Help for around ten years after.. That made me addicted.. Trying to say I was 'ok'a d didn't need help, was just me listening to
    My own crock
If shit. And believing it. So when someone says hey, you doing this this and this for 'fun' makes you a loser.. Then we're ALL losers.. Cause that's usually how it starts. Anyhow.. I should have said nothing at all..

But PJfan is better than them all! PJfan is a winner cuz PJfan says no to recreational drug use!

PJfan never answered if PJfan drinks alcohol... Do you?

Like I said...not sure at all where this thread is going anymore.

I would like to call the drug dealer a loser as well for being the enablers of getting kids to smoke dope and possibly harder drugs at an early age.

Maybe I hang around the wrong crowd I don't know. I know of people who do drugs and I know that nothing good comes from it. I am not above anything at all.
Hanging around people who snort coc, heroin whatever is not my thing nor will it ever be. Teaching children to avoid drugs at any cost is in no way whatsoever wrong.
I am the kind of person who calls the recreational coc snorter a loser.

    Yes, I drink.

    Edit -
Since these seems to be an act/re-act thread,
What would a persons reaction be if on Obamas off time he openly says that I do coc of Fridays and heroin on Saturday.

Obama is just a quick example I came up with and is in no way meant to imply anything.

    Alcohol is a drug.
Recreational use of that drug causes more deaths in America than any other drug.
Can you not see how your comments are entirely hypocritical?

I am the kind of person who started smoking weed when I was 13, because it beat evenings with therapists and crying myself to sleep, wishing I had the courage to just jump out a window and kill myself. It was nice to be numb for a bit.

Was it healthy? No. But using it did play an integral part in my staying alive.

Nowadays, I've gotten past that, and tried a few drugs. Yeah, I'll do a few lines at a NIN concert - but after two, I say no to the third because I know my own limits (even in spite of never having gone past them).

I'm also the kind of person who understands each and every person's right to bring about their own destruction (and no one else's). I'm for assisted suicide, not for drunk driving.

I might call you a loser for your choice of drug (alcohol), which routinely kills others in ways that an incapacitated junkie in back alley couldn't even fathom doing.

Will pm, but on the public front, I'd rather leave the choice of clarifying to the OP.

In a nutshell I said (illegal)Drugs are for losers.
or people who are in such much emotional pain but afraid to reach out to others to relieve that burden. Numbing it seems the easier softer way. Until it isnt any longer.

    Illegal or otherwise including alcohol.

alcohol is the biggest gateway drug, and it is legal.

That's why I asked if the OP really just has an issue with these drugs being illegal, rather than the actual impact of the drugs... looking forward to an answer!
Wow, The power of the .
Soon we will have as many posts here as the Eddie hot pics.

Not sure where this thread is going...

No I don't have an issue with drugs being illegal. The impact of said illegal drugs is evident.
    Hash, coc, heroin, meth etc

I just think that people who actively engage in above activities as "something to do" after work or whenever (wake 'n bakes, smoking a bong)

Recreational use of these drugs is for losers.
Gonna read the rest of this thread and hope my thoughts of the post quoted will change...but that up there...really?

(which was, in essence, the initial post)

This seems like the ramblings of someone under the influence. And if so, so be it. But anyone giving shit to others best cast that light upon themselves as well. To do otherwise is pretty asshole-ish.

And the whole Obama thing - not getting that tangent (though it could be written off to my having indulged in that evil and loser-grabbing weed).

Brian, that clip is perfect - Blind Melon did a beautiful cover - (and Pink Dot does deliver here!)

No- I am not under the influence.
Too many people are taking this thread as a direct attack, whatever this thread is about now.
No one is giving shit to people on this forum - no one.

The Obama thing tangent was trying to get opinions on if they would elect a president knowing he did drugs on his time off, somehow I think not.
    And that reason is clear.

As far as doctors go - I sure as fuck would not want to have surgery from a doctor that uses coc for fun. Fuck that.

As far as people banning themselves from this place,
    it happens far too often.

sidenote - Quite often it seems the AMT only has a fixed number of people responding. I wonder if it is because a lot of people are in agreement to ignore each other or this place really is dead.

edit - I bolded my quote. seem quoting is messed up again.
