Please get rid of the global shipping program it is a complete ripoff. It doesn't cost $62 to ship the backpack to Canada and tax isn't 20%

They need to give you a cut of the proceeds for staying on top of all the auctions and posting them here for us to see. :)

How about setting a fair market price, listing it for ten club members to submit request to buy if interested over a 2 week period, then doing lottery for whomever entered. Some fan club member gets a holy grail and Vitalogy Foundation gets money. Win...win for all.
Or do raffles here for it, since money goes to charity. Bet you could raise more money in Tenclub raffles than on Ebay. Lots of peeps would shell out $10 here and there for chances at holy grails. Come on... Try it.

Great cause but horrible marketing. You lose out on potential buyers plus Ebay charges 10% of winning bid plus 10% of shipping cost.

I love that idea. And I'm sure they would make A LOT of mula with any single item they raffle off here. And it doesn't have to be 10 bucks. 2-5 bucks would be suitable.

It's alright. I'm just glad that ALL fan's living around the world are able to bid on these Pearl Jam items where 90% of the items were exclusive to USA shipping addresses only.

I am not a fan of the eBay auctions as a way for the Vitalogy Foundation to make money. It fucks up the estimated market value of the items. I really like the suggestion someone else had: RAFFLES. It would get WAY more money for charity out of 10c members. We love raffles! ;)

Estimated market value on stuff is already fucked up because of eBay. It's been that way for a long time.
I'm assuming using eBay is way easier than organizing a raffle. International shipping can be a major PITA as well. Too many "lost" shipments can really ruin your trust in people.

At least this stuff is for charity, and not feeding bootleggers and flippers*.
