Overall it was enjoyable. The fight scenes were awesome. The plot and storyline were ok, kinda predictable.8/28/98- Camden, NJ

I am depressed by how much money 50 Shades of Grey has made at the box office. It's embarrassing to humankind, seriously. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

Is anybody here going to give us a review? I have no plans to see it, unless it's one of those that's so bad it's good. Even then, I'd wait for Netflix.PJ_Soul said:I am depressed by how much money 50 Shades of Grey has made at the box office. It's embarrassing to humankind, seriously.

Mystery Science Theater 3000: The Movie
Had never seen it before, pretty decent. Didn't really have to be made into a movie though8/28/98- Camden, NJ

I'm finally watching Birdman tonight. Can't wait.
Someone sent me this review of 50 Shades and I laughed so hard - it's really really funny.

An other funny comment from Twitter : "Fifty shades of grey is romantic only because the guy is a billionaire. If he was living in a trailer it would be a Criminal minds episode."
My last movie I watched was this short :https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cSGZyRBpMBE

I like his suggestion for who to play the lead characters: Barbra Streisand and Nick Nolte from Prince of Tides. I'd never seen that but I have a co-worker who HATES it (she had to watch it for a class and write a paper on it). Recently I caught about 30 minutes of it late at night--OMG, was there ever a couple with less onscreen chemistry?

Whiplash and Boyhood, both were very good in their own ways. JK Simmons was awesome in Whiplash.Alright, alright, alright!
