    that seems cheap right?
although pretty expensive for one card lol

It does but we have no idea how many of these Ed Vedder cards will be available. No word yet if these will be numbered too. I don't believe the above Amazon complete set of 350 will include the Ed card. We will have to randomly score the golden ticket picking up one of these single packages .. http://www.topps.com/catalog/category/view/s/baseball-trading-cards/id/173/ , when the 2015 are on sale.

Last night on eBay there was 20 .. Topps 2015 Series 1 Baseball FIRST PITCH Insert Set (15 Cards) PRESALE for just US $12.99. Not bad if you don't want to buy packs & boxes of cards.

    12.99 is more like it.

I guess most of us have zero interest in the other 349 cards (baseball isn't a sport that travels well outside the USA borders), and will be hunting the vedder card which will no doubt be mass produced.

If its anything like football cards here then were talking MASS produced.

Paul when I get one I'll send it your way. It should be pretty easy to find.

WHAT NOT LIMITED!?!?! I don't know if I even want it anymore...

Wouldn't it be funny if the world ended in 2010, with lots of fire?

I was going to mention this earlier. There might be numbered variants, but these will be pretty easy to obtain.

Maybe a possible Ed Hologram Baseball Card?

Sure but I'd rather pay $1.49 plus $2 or $3 for shipping rather than keep buying packs in the hopes one shows up
  • Im hoping they are easy to get. Big Cubs fan. It is tough but really looking forward to 2015 with all the moves and changes to Wrigley. Would love to add card to Wrigley cards and spectrum cards

All gone now. $1.84 Canadian. Just searched "2015 Topps Baseball First Pitch PRESELL" over on eBay. I would too just pay that instead of buying packs & packs to find the Ed card. Which is pretty much the only card I want.

Packs will be affordable. $1.99 at places like Target and Walmart. Still might be better off buying one Vedder card on eBay. After the initial rush when the set comes out, prices for one will die down.

Just hang tight. There will be a ton on eBay when the set comes out on February 4th.

Guys these will not be rare like others said. Please dont overpay right now. People are paying $30 right now for the presale. $3 should be more like it. These are modern day Topps cards.

Has topps released what the insert rate will be per pack? That would go a long way to determining how tough they will be to find.

Ok, by the sounds of this thread, the 15 celebs will be in the 350 odd 2015 Topps baseball set, correct? I thought the 15 would have been a special set in there own right?

    Can someone confirm.

If it's an insert set, those are not typically included in the regular issue. They are inserted into packs at a much lower ratio than the cards in the regular set and card companies usually announce the insert rate such as 1:24 packs.

The First Pitch cards will not be apart of the 350 card base set. As On2legs said, they will be considered insert cards. There are thousands of different cards in the entire set of 2015 Topps. Unfortunately, it's not like the old days when there were only a few hundred.

Even if the odds to pull a First Pitch cards are say, 1:8 Packs, pulling an Eddie Vedder out of one individual pack will still be somewhat difficult.

eBay will be the best place to buy one of these cards. It's best to wait a couple weeks after February 4th, as prices for the cards will come down after the initial rush to get one.

Even if the First Pitch cards are "short printed" - meaning, somewhat hard to get, the price will still drop.

Cards that are in hand will begin showing up on eBay around February 1st.

    Good luck!

Imagine if they did an autographed version of the first pitch? Then we would see craziness around here :D
