just saw the standings. We're ahead of the Knicks now? 12 game losing streak for them and the T-Wolves now :-S :))

Also congrats to the sixers on their first home win of the season :-bd

yup only in Philly can we fuck up intentional tanking. Hinkie screwed up by hiring Brett Brown, he is too good of a coach. we need some lazy ass veterans in here to lose more.

What exactly do you think they are fucking up? They're on pace for 12 wins. You didn't really think 2-40 In the first half or whatever you said was realistic did you? Haha

winning too many games. if you are going to full on tank you can't end up with the 3rd or 4th worst record. if the Knicks get the top pick ahead of you this year then said plan didn't work out as you wanted it to.

winning too many games? they're 5-28. i think you're just upset they're not as bad as you initially thought...as ridiculous as that sounds

and they tanked last year and didn't have the worst record either. it's impossible to guarantee yourself of the worst record. but they're going to end up with one of the worst records in the history of the nba. can't control the fact that other teams have determined tanking is the way for them to go as well. plus it's a lottery. cleveland won it last year despite having the 9th best record. sixers got the 3rd pick despite having the 2nd worst.

That Jan. 21 game should be epic Knicks will have a chance at an 18th straight loss by then.

Assuming the Sixers don't trade Wroten by then, which they probably will, I'm saying Sixers by 10 in that game.

    What a fucking division, huh?

i thought it was bad 10 years when the 45-win Celtics won it, but now that the Nets have slipped to 16-21, other than Toronto it might be the worst division ever. Though I'll say this, the Sixers seem to have at least a few watchable players in Noel, Carter-Williams, Covington.

McDaniels is fun to watch too. That's why I've enjoyed this year more than last year--we at least get to see a few of the pieces who might be here when they get better.

I meant to include McDaniels, I wouldn't mind seeing him in the dunk contest. I've had this discussion with people comparing the Knicks and Sixers and we've concluded that coaching should also get the Sixers a few more wins. For example, Brown said on Friday he called three pick-and-roll plays with Noel on the possessions leading up to the dunk. On the dunk, he went away from that and had Noel station himself under the basket. We wonder if Derek Fisher is capable of making such an adjustment.
