USPS sent my record to a whole different state- WTF??
They blamed it on the machine that does the sorting.

To add to the USPS incompetence, I bought a copy of Deftones Adrenaline on pink vinyl from ebay. It shipped 12/10. No tracking updates since 6am Sunday. Been sitting in Bell Gardens, CA for 4 days. How horrible
When I send vinyl in the mail, I always write Fragile on it too. But I also add "Please do not bend. Thank you very much" orsometimes "Vinyl record inside, please do not bend, thank you" in hopes that people will be gentle because I said thank you... And even if it doesn't say fragile or breakable or whatever. Why would you bend something that does not feel bendable to the point where you can hear a crack?! Especially when you are a mail person. And for chrissake, the shape of a record mailer does not really leave a lot of room to the imagination as to what is in it, doesn't it? If people deliberately destroy stuff like that, they are just plain dick heads. The worst with things like that is not just that now you have all the hassle with the insurance but you also have to locate another copy for a good price. This whole situation just sucks.
