An Atlantic Canadian Pearl Jam Tour would be sweet!

Just imagine seeing Pearl Jam for the first time EVER playing in the provinces of New Brunswick & Prince Edward Island? To come back to Halifax for another round of Keiths. Or get another kiss from a fish up in Newfoundland.

    Make it happen! O:-)

I am so with you on this one! I am originally from PEI, live in New Brunswick! We have had to travel to Philly, Denver, Boston, and San Fran (Bridge School) To see PJ! We got scammed on tickets to London, ON last year and their 2011 tour I was pregnant and had my son in July so we didn't get to go.
Everyone seems to think Canada consists of Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, but we are so much more than that! PEI is absolutely gorgeous (all of Atlantic Canada is, actually) and I don't wanna travel to far next year and spend thousands lol (although I will if i have to)

To add to my previous comment, Toronto and Montreal are NOT the east coast. Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and New Brunswick = East Coast.
    end rant.
  • My guess is that on Oct 22nd there will be a 25th Anniversary concert in Seattle WA and those tickets will sell in a heartbeat ... I'm going!

This may be a stupid question, so forgive my ignorance, but why does there always seem to be so much love for MSG? I saw Oasis there in 2008, and didn't think it was an overly spectacular venue. I get that it's that it's right in the centre of NYC and therefore accessible for many people on the east coast, but in terms of a destination venue, I don't really get the draw. Something like the Gorge, Red Rocks, Jones Beach, Wrigley, Fenway, etc..I understand...but MSG was just another hockey arena in my opinion. I'm not trying to troll, I'm just interested in why PJ fans seem to have such admiration for it.

On a side note, given the way the boys ripped up the midwest this fall, I'd much rather see them play smaller towns in the N.E. if they were to tour that area next year. Like shows in Maine, Vermont, etc...

Like Mudhoney once sung, its overblown.

Thank you!! I hate it when promoters advertise their bands with banners "East Coast Canadian tour" but the only cities East they are playing are in the provinces of Ontario & Quebec. Nothing East of Quebec which lies New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia & Newfoundland.

This is the East Coast of Canada. This is where Pearl Jam needs to play in 2015.

2a) Either a summer tour of about 35-40 dates

LOL. You'll never see a tour like that again.

my dream tour would be eastern canada/new england... small cities... smaller venues... amazing road trip possibilities... the standard northeast run of boston, nyc, philly, hartford is pretty stale for me at this point and i assume is for the band as well...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_Insurance_Arena
recently renovated arena in Portland Maine that seats 9,000+ for concerts... Elvis was supposed to play it the day after he died

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Verizon_Wireless_Arena
fairly new arena in New Hampshire that holds 10,000+ for concerts

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunkin'_Donuts_Center
recently renovated 10,000+ seat arena in Providence Rhode Island

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Times_Union_Center
15,000+ seat arena in Albany is awesome and is a great place for a show as well, especially since they close the strip in front of the venue to cars and it is pedestrian only with plenty of bars and such...

and of course i would give my left foot to do 2005 over again and add halifax and st johns to my agenda... how the hell did i miss that? had a blast in 2005 and saw some great shows in great places, but i would definitely add those if i were to do it now

You re crazy! The only ok msg shows were in 08. Otherwise they ve all been stellar. (And yes I ve been to all of them). Three msg shows go down as some of the best shows pj has ever played: 9/11/98, night one 03 (the stage shook!!!!) and night two 2010. You can't say that about too many other venues.

U of VT plays at Gutterson Fieldhouse. It only holds about 4k. They hope to build a new arena soon.
