Maybe a light Eastern Canada tour, with a stop (maybe two shows) in Toronto. If we're lucky, 3-4 shows in the US - more than likely in the NE somewhere (NYC, Boston, Philly). Overall, probably a pretty quiet 2015 and probably would expect an Ed solo tour as well. Also hoping for a No Code / Yield reissue and box set, and release of Wrigley and PJ20 boots/set. A new DVD release would pretty ideal as well.
I would expect 2016 to be a big year. I'm calling in 2016 we get a new album, PJ25 at the Gorge, and another US/European tour with maybe some SA shows in there.

I just want to visit new or long ignored places like this fall 2014 tour. Would love to head up to Newfoundland. Sure, it is a bitch to travel to these places since flight options suck, but still fun.0

Pearl Jam has played at least 1 show in the States every calendar year since they began.Ryan said:Also, it's been a long time since they went a whole calendar year without playing the States.

This is true. I meant more like it's been a long time since they had years like 1997, 1999 or 2001 where they only play Bridge School, or Bridge School and Groundwork. They used to take full years off between records but now there are at least a couple of their own headlining shows, somewhere.Yefa said:

There's too much money to be made selling merchandise for them not to play 12-24 dates. South America, Canada and a few US dates.Pittsburgh 1998 • Pittsburgh 2006 • 2012 Isle Of Wight Festival • 2012 Made In America Festival • Baltimore 2013 • Seattle 2013
St. Paul 2014 • Mexico City 2015 • Philadelphia II 2016 • Ottawa 2016 • Amsterdam I & II 2018 • Wrigley Field II 2018 • Phoenix 2022

Exactly. The merch lines are INSANE at every show and they always pack the house. It's easy money, and they earn every penny when they're on stage.RS151862 said:There's too much money to be made selling merchandise for them not to play 12-24 dates. South America, Canada and a few US dates.

They are going to go way off the beaten track and only play smaller(to some obscure) venues across Canada. Thunder Bay, Brandon, Saskatoon, Grande Prairie, Prince George - just so that everyone else has to take a week and spend stupid sums of money just to get anywhere close
I kid but a girl can dream! Would love to head out to Montreal, Halifax and NFLD for a few shows!Anything you lose from being honest
You never really had to begin with.

I feel like a No Code/Yield reissue is overdue, along with Coachella, maybe Lolla, along with the Gorge over labor day. RNDM album would be nice. EV Midwest shows. Would love Alpine at some point.0

This may be a stupid question, so forgive my ignorance, but why does there always seem to be so much love for MSG? I saw Oasis there in 2008, and didn't think it was an overly spectacular venue. I get that it's that it's right in the centre of NYC and therefore accessible for many people on the east coast, but in terms of a destination venue, I don't really get the draw. Something like the Gorge, Red Rocks, Jones Beach, Wrigley, Fenway, etc..I understand...but MSG was just another hockey arena in my opinion. I'm not trying to troll, I'm just interested in why PJ fans seem to have such admiration for it.
On a side note, given the way the boys ripped up the midwest this fall, I'd much rather see them play smaller towns in the N.E. if they were to tour that area next year. Like shows in Maine, Vermont, etc...1992-07-21 Vancouver

Anyone think there's a change they play New Orleans Jazz fest? I'm probably going this year and it would be righteous if PJ was a headliner0
