Me and my sister spent summer '88 at my aunt's and my older cousin played it all the time so my sister with her birthday money (age 8) went and bought it on vinyl. My parents when they saw the artwork :o
So are we strangers now? Like rock and roll and the radio?
  • redrockredrock Posts: 18,341

:D Lyrics did make me think a bit but she was very young when she started nicking my cd and I figured at that age, you couldn't really make out the words anyhow (except for a fuck here and there!). I then I thought by the time she could more or less understand them, she would know 'all about things' and also understand they are rude! But hey... she's my lil' rockin' goth! :D

    I hear ya sister :D

I remember getting the Use Your Illusion videos when I was younger and when they played rocket queen and in the middle he does this thing about cumming in your mouth and it tasting good.....don't get her that vid if she asks for it  :D

damn all i've been able to do for the last day or two is listen to eddie singing one of the best songs /covers whatever i've heard him do in a while ....... think listening to this song is verging on the " as good as sex list " i keep in my mind!!!

Byrnzie just call the female boss a cunt - that should do for now - and if you're afraid of reprecussions just mumble it !!

Am gettting a memorial tattoo on friday and want to pick a few words from given to fly from it - as the mate i am getting it to remember loved the song ( wasn't a PJ fan but listened to enough of them cos of myself of course) was just going to go with " given to fly " as the tattoo is a pegasus ........... any other ideas?

Two days in a row! I'm with you with Love Reign.... triple orgasm with that one!

The tattoo... if your mate loved given to fly, then that is the most appropriate.. what is the reason behind pegasus (if I'm not too nosey?)

THe pegasus is because she rode horses her whole life - she lived for horses really - ran a stables and then went to germany to do an olympic certificate to train children up to olypmic standard but unfortunately ( in june past) she was killed in a house fire the night before she was due to return home to Ireland ............. so a horse with wings - i think it just is her - would be like a comfort to me i think .

A human being that was given to fly"

The mythology of Pegagus is lovely too....

How sad.... nice to have a memorial tattoo....

Mine are protective... the next one I'm planning is a protective one as well.

I think she's been left in no doubt as to my opinion of her. I may well tell her exactly what I think of her on my last day, which hopefully won't be too far off.
I moved desks today and made it pefectly clear that I was moving to get away from her.

ahhh yes yes thats perfect - hopefully wont be too long to get with the pegasus - thats so much nicer than just the given to fly.

i have mostly celtic tats - and i have one palestinian flag with arabic around it - i wouldn't mind going with protective symbols - must check some out.

Bosses are a pain in the ass especially ones that are wankers. I don't get on with my boss either but i've found out that i kinda intimidate him as he has issue with strong females so now i just play up on that and he hasn't in two years said one thing to me at all. The place i work thankfully my boss is 9-5 ( usual management) and the rest of the work force work the worst shifts ever. ( i work in a specialised childrens home )

Byrnzie - enjoy telling her your mind if you intend to leave your workplace but only after you've gotten a reference !!
