    If you can walk through the COBO it should be ok then. Based on Google it takes you on a tangent to the east and around. Just found out that the wishlist party is at Buffalo Wild Wings at 1218 Randolph Street.

    Buffalo Wild Wings? The ones around here (PA) have a strict 2 or 3 drink limit and then they are all up your ass.

    Some friends of mine booked the Crown Plaza. I think it's about 2 blocks from Cobo and is between The Joe & BW3.

    You're right about the Crowne Plaza. I'm still on the fence of whether to stay at the Crowne Plaza or the Doubletree. I'm leaning towards the Crowne.

    It appears I am the only one staying at the Holiday Inn Express. This will be my 13th show, and the first one going solo by myself. Coming up from Akron Ohio, about a 3 hour drive. Decided not to go with 10c tix due to only needing a single this time, but scored section 123 Row 1 through the Ticketmaster app when they went on sale. Cant Wait!!!

    What the best bar to check out prior to the show? Cobo Joe's? Anchor Bar? Those appear to be the only two options close to the arena!

    kinda excited to be going solo this time; i can plan what I want to do, and not worry about anyone else. i would have to assume they will be covering "kick out the jams". plan to leave akron around noon and get to slos barbeque around 3 for some drinks and early dinner, check into the hotel, and have a couple more drinks and a smoke, then walk down to BW3. i am hoping there is a place nearby after the show to relax and soak in what was just experienced while sipping on some beers.

    +1. Headed to Cincy in 2 days with a buddy for GA standing but then i'll be doing detroit on my own. Def gotta meet up with people before hand. Guess BW3's it is!

    ...If you had asked me a year ago if I ever thought there would be ANY perks to moving to Toledo for work... This is surely helping to make up for that!
