    Right on. I had a few in my cart here and there but didn't end up with them. I like Stubbs but if it's between there or the moody theater there's no question in my mind. I think I'm gonna get tix to rodrigo and Gabriela at moody instead. Just saw they will be there.

    The only thing "cheap" you're going to find in Austin for either weekend is about 30 miles outside the city.

    Houston, Texas... Believe it or not, there are 7 million people here... must be a couple of fans who'd love to see you play.

    “Austin City Limits” has announced tapings by Sam Smith, Avett Brothers, Spoon and Jenny Lewis in conjunction with their appearances at the Austin City Limits Music Festival next month.

    First up, on Wednesday, Oct. 1, is Jenny Lewis, whose new album “The Voyager” has earned wide acclaim since its late-July release. She’s taped “ACL” before, as a member of Rilo Kiley in 2005. She plays ACL Fest on Oct. 5 and 12 (both Sundays)..

    Britiain’s Sam Smith is next, on Thursday, Oct. 2. It’s the first appearance on the show for the fast-rising singer-songwriter whose debut album “In the Lonely Hour” has produced a major summer hit in “Stay With Me.” He plays ACL fest on Oct. 3 and 10 (both Fridays).

    North Carolina indie-roots ensemble the Avett Brothers will tape their second “ACL” episode on Monday, Oct. 6, after making their first appearance on the show in 2010. The band’s ACL Fest dates are Oct. 4 and 11 (both Saturdays).

    Hometown heroes Spoon, touting last month’s new disc “They Want My Soul,” close out the Fest-related tapings on Thursday, Oct. 9. This will be the band’s fourth appearance on the show, following episodes in 2003, 2005 and 2010. They play ACL Fest Oct. 5 and 12 (both Sundays), along with a late-night show Oct. 11 on the outdoor stage at Stubb’s.

    Anyone need a weekend 1 pass? I'm only attending Sunday and have no use for the whole thing. Selling for $160 (face is $230), or for a Sunday pass and $60

    I am Canadian, so I'll be picking the ticket up on Thursday (International will call only). I am headed to STL for the Friday PJ show and Dallas on Sat for the Gaslight show.

    I'll be honest & sau that I didn't read every post of this thread.... I could use two tickets for Sunday Weekend 2 if any one has some extras.

    Also, would consider Saturday weekend 2 as well, but right now only Sunday is a sure thing for us.
