Christmas cards you've sent to me
all that I have are these to remember you by...
memories that come to me at night, take me to another time
back to a happier day - when you called me mine
but , we sure had a good time
when we started way back when, morning walks and
bedroom talks, Oh you loved me then....
summer skies and lullabies, nights we couldnt say good-bye
and of all of the things that we knew, not a dream survived...
not a dream survived....
this dream was not meant for you....

I give it less than 2 hours.... so funny- games people play in the middle of the day

As the wind whistles a melody all its own
neighbors wind-chimes seem to dance and play along
heavy rains hit the windows and doors as a storm approaches
closing my eyes, I breathe as the energy surrournds me
and my spirit soars....
a summer filled with storms, more than usual
my hand reaches out feeling the raindrops
tasting rain as I embrace this evening....
the breeze is warm, my mind at peace
the calm before the storm.....
above the sky trembles as the clouds darken
rolling thunder, night sky on fire with lightening
embrace the power of nature, the earth and sky
fill my eyes with wonder, the scent of cleansing rain...

because you're so far away.... so far away, nothing to say
can't help you no more, go back to a safe place once more
you're too far away....
a box of death at your door, opened up to explore - you're lost once more
if life could work out my way, next door you would stay...
run in fields in yellow hue, long walks beneath the moon
the skies filled with blue.... spending time close to you
you're too far away ....

A favorite for sure....
I've been up and down and all around and back again
I've been in so many places, I can't remember where or when
and my only boss was the clock on the wall, and my friend was never a friend at all....
I've traded love for pennies, sold my soul for less
lost my ideals along this long tunnel of time
turned inside out and about and back again
found myself right back where I started again....

The end of August.... the last day has past and summer is ending way too fast, so much more to do and yet not enough time. Leaves are starting to fall already.... to soon, way too soon...

Time to reflect the last few days of summer, not much of a summer this year at all. Very cool and rainy. Autumn is upon me now and the days are very gloomy and much cooler than I want.
Lake Erie is sending gray skies ahead.... looks and feels more like November to me ....
Tempo per riflettere gli ultimi giorni d'estate, non molto di un'estate quest'anno a tutti. Molto fresco e piovoso. L'autunno è su di me ora e le giornate sono molto cupo e molto più fresco che voglio.
Lago Erie è l'invio di un cielo grigio avanti .... guarda e si sente più simile a novembre a me ....

Autumn, the end of October is fast approaching and its been a very cool, rainy month. Plenty of gray cloudy skies and the wind has been chilly...
Autumn seems to signal the end for me, the end of another year. This month has been bittersweet, with several bad and sadening news....
Autumn by far is my favorite season, with the leaves changing color and my long walks as I notice many trees are now bare of leaves.
Soon a long winter will be here....
